Gem of a property. Only 30 rooms on a small private island with private beach. Sea view from every room. Our one bedroom was updated and clean. Full kitchen and large balcony gave a real luxe feel. Easy swim or walk to the other side of the lagoon for lively shops, restaurants and beach clubs. We loved it all. Great snorkeling just outside the lagoon. The 2 big iguanas greet you at breakfast, the dolphins swim by and the cats patrol. Easy shuttle or taxi to town for food, shopping, art, culture, history.
Downside: beds were very hard, music and parties too loud and go too late at night from other side of lagoon, a few sandfly bites were annoying, restaurants are on island time so don’t be in a hurry. Overall a real relaxing paradise.
