Over the years I had driven past and thought how attractive it looked and intended to stay. The setting and interior exceeded my expectations. The view of the gardens and village from our room was gorgeous. Similarly the bar and restaurant were beautifully decorated and quintessentially English. The staff in reception and restaurant were friendly and highly professional.

Overall the hotel was very pleasant, expect an older clientele (which is fine). Staff were accommodating although it took 4 requests over 3 hours to get them to provide a fan in my parents disabled room. Please note the disabled room has no air con the other rooms do. Although the disabled room is on the ground floor be aware there is no seat in the shower and the toilet is a normal height so not really accommodating to every disabled person . The hotel is in a good location and I would suspect that is why it is so expensive, although the accommodation was fine it was very 'tired' . It seemed like they were following all 'Covid' rules however our bathroom door was very dirty by the handle (handle clean but not the surrounding area). The restaurant was good quality and the staff were lovely. I would say go but don't expect what you see in the photos!

This hotel was fabulous. It was comfortable, the staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfy. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast. The evening menu isn’t extensive but the food was delicious.

Overall excellent place to stay staff very friendly especially lady receptionist went out of her way to make you feel welcome Service at breakfast could have been better as not busy having full fat milk ( blue top ) available would be an advantage not everyone has semi skimmed Going back to stay again loved the hotel and area

Very peaceful location. Also an oasis of light at night (Bosham has no street lights). Friendly and efficient staff. Bar service was very good. Breakfast more than sufficient and well prepared.

Nice hotel, but walls paper thin.

This hotel has a great location unfortunately the room we stayed in was not so great. The walls were so paper thin we could hear every time the guest in the next room flushed the toilet and then heard the water refilling the tank of the toilet as well as the TV from the room next door. The beds were spring beds that sunk towards the middle a little, although the room was clean it smelled very strong of bleach and so had to have the windows open all night. We booked a premium room and yet the bathroom had broken tiles around the bath. The restaurant was nice and the breakfast was delicious.

Anniversary Break

Recommended by friend and we weren’t disappointed. Staff very helpful .We had a lovely large room quiet with beautiful decor with everything you would need tea and coffee making equipment home made biscuits. We had booked the Brasserie for our evening meal Food good ,service good .An anniversary to remember.

Great hotel

This is a lovely hotel with staff who have a good attitude. The bed was very comfortable and the towels very soft. We ate at their bistro type restaurant which was excellent and good value.

Lovely area , old world decoration which is nice . Have people comming back for 30 years and the clientele while I was there is elderly people . The restaurant Mavericks is very good and we enjoyed our dinner and breakfast

A gem

A little gem in a beautiful village. Very nicely presented rooms and shared areas and friendly staff. Good brekky too.
