There were beer bottles outside our door from coming into the hotel. We were by a washer and dryer which was loud. The ice machine was loud door slamming the crack underneath the door was a good half inch just was not very happy.

It's okay. The room was clean but looked messy from multiple patches. The desk staff was friendly. They offered breakfast, but there was no waffle mix and the other options were old and stale. There was no one available to help.

It may be that the place was clean, but it had a seedy feel and look to it especially in the the stairwell and halls. The staff person checked us in and took our credit card and just before we took our bags to walk upstairs to our room he told us that the hotel had no water due to a water main problem with the town. He said it would be up and running shortly. We should have been informed of this from the beginning. Also, residents in homes near the hotel told us they had no water. We left and went to another town. The hotel worker assured us we would not be charged.

Less than expected
When checking in the owner stated that the city was working on water lines and there would be no water for 5 hours. This was fine with us as we were leaving for our event after checking in. In the morning we attempted to shower and there was no pressure to start the shower, so we were unable to shower. Upon checking out the owner had taped a piece of paper to the front door saying that the motel had no water. There were other visitors taking a picture of the note taped to the door, so others were as disappointed as we were. Our room was clean but the bathroom could use some work, replace toilet with the higher type toilet and the sink fixtures were missing parts and the drain was rusted. I used my Hotels.com free room to stay here so the small amount I had to pay out of pocket wasn't a great loss other than the loss of a free stay at a better place. We frequently stay at Super 8's when traveling and this is not a place we would ever stay at again.

No way to turn shower on, bath water was rusty when turned on and there was no handle on shower to switch between tub amd shower.

Decent price for a nice room
Comfy beds, nicely remodeled room. Checked in late at night and was off early the next morning. For a place to sleep for a few hours, it was great. Convenient off the highway. Plenty of parking. "Free breakfast" consisted of 3 cold cereal choices, a few danishes, and coffee - so not great, but it will suffice in a pinch.

Hotels.com should make sure Hotels are clean
The room smelled horrible, the bathroom door didn't latch had to block it to stay closed. I reserved a 2 bed roo.. they only had 1 king bed. The front desk argued with me about it. Because we were there for special Olympics no other rooms were available. I believe Hotels.com should take some responsibility for offering a place like this. It was the worst Hotel I ever stayed at and would recommend it be shut down until it is updated and cleaned thoroughly.

It was very small and the beds are so hard and uncomfortable. This place definitely needs an upgrade. Way too much money for what you get.

Good thing was the mattress was good the bathroom toilet clogged the TV didn't work at 1st in the air conditioner had to have the gentleman from downstairs come up to start. The continental breakfast was nutty bars honey buns and cupcakes too defrosted Waffles a bagel 2 pieces of bread cereal that looked like this looked like it had been in the container

Accessible room isn’t ADA compliant. Shower head is not reachable for someone in a wheelchair and no shower chair. Also there was a cockroach and a large brown spider that we killed within minutes of entering the room.

Stayed for an overnight at this hotel due to no vacancy near Normal, IL. We had no choice this one time. The staff management were friendly. The hotel.is old and outdated. The carpet felt dusty as it needed a vacuum. I woke up with a congested nose due to dusty air. Hair in the sink, tub, and bathroom floor. Sheets also Had some hair and the side of the mattress were stained. Kind of gross. Continental Breakfast is not at all inviting. Did not felt safe eating items that were out due to Covid. Also, the Illinois mandate sign was on the door, however, the staff were not wearing any mask and staff did not enforced at all. I Will not stay here again or recommend it.

The price for the room was affordable, so you'll have to accept the fairly cheap breakfast. Mostly hostess cakes and community cereal and milk.

This is as good as it gets for budget options. Room was clean and cozy, felt very comfortable sleeping there. Furniture was basic but expected at this price point. No frills, bathroom was clean. Hotel located just off the highway with two 24-hour convenience stores within walking distance. McDonalds located on adjacent lot. Highly recommended budget option.

Pros - Room was clean and no odors with recent paint, new looking shower unit, carpet and air conditioner. Bed was comfortable. Appears remodeling is in process and my room and areas I saw are very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Cons - building is older and exterior shows it. Furniture in room is outdated and worn (chipped, etc) but very clean. Remodel job is amateurish, but clean. Overall - very satisfied, especially for the price.

Quick over-night stay hotel
The hotel is a small, right off the expressway, which is nice, cheap convenient hotel. There was nothing special about it. I was going to a friends 50th birthday party & I lived too far away to drive home & need a place to stay for the night. The hotel was clean & not expensive, but it needed updating. If you are expecting a plush hotel don't stay here, but for around 50 bucks I would hope you would not expect much. They do have smoking rooms for any of you smokers and they allow pets. This is a good hotel for a quick over-night stay.
