Great property in a central area, convenient for walking around the city. Very clean older building, with high ceilings, good heating and our room had a nice view. The staff spoke English and were very helpful. Highly recommend!

The hotel is conveniently located close to the centre of Thessaloniki, all monuments, museums and archaeology sightings are within walking distance. The hotel is also close to lots of bars that are open till late which makes it convenient to have a couple more drinks before heading back to the hotel to sleep. The hotel was very clean and tidy. The room was comfortable fresh towels and bedding changed everyday.

The hotelier I interacted with was fantastic: he knew what I needed before I needed it and provided great recommendations for places to dine and what to see. For the price especially in summer, this is a great destination!

We had a wonderful stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Coffee room with coffee, tea, cookies available around the clock; staff will make Greek coffee if you prefer. The location is great, 1/2 block from St. Demetrios church, and right by the Roman Forum, with all of downtown in walking distance, including the sights and the restaurant areas (and shopping, although that’s not our thing). Rooms were fine, on the small side but since we were out seeing the city, and the hotel has comfortable common areas, this wasn’t an issue. I travel often to Thessaloniki and will definitely stay here again.

The worst customer service rep (Alekos)!!!
I had a horrible experience staying at this hotel. On my first night, I went to the front desk for help with the air conditioner. The room was very hot at 26 degrees Celsius, and I could not seem to get the AC to work using the remote. The receptionist (ALEKOS) told me to use the remote control for the AC. After telling him I wasn't sure how it operated since the room remained hot after several minutes of fiddling with the AC, he became visibly angry (I guess he did not want to walk up the stairs to my room to show me). After following me to the room, he pulled the curtains to reveal there was a wall heater that was on and barked at me that I had turned on the heater. Why would I turn on a heater in April when I prefer a cold room? And the wall heater wasn't easily visible from behind the curtains. Also, I wasn't expecting that the hotel would have the heater turned on at this time of the year, so I did not look for one. This man was fuming for some reason, so I said nothing. Safety first! After turning on the AC, he left without a word. I was left wondering why a mundane inquiry about a working AC elicited such rudeness. Weird!

We found the service of very good standard. The staff were always helpful and courteous. The rooms seemed small for two persons and luggage. But you don’t stay in the rooms apart from sleep. Location was good, quite close to the Centro.

Great location
This place is walking distance to most monuments, to the promenade and to shops and restaurants. Close to bus as well. Taxi service is reasonable if needed. The room is small and the bathroom is super tiny but manageable. Front desk guys are very kind and helpful. I recommend.

Everything was very good. The location is perfect - central but quiet, in the middle of everything. Very important, you can find a lot of free parking available, on-site from the hotel but also in the streets around the hotel. The staff was very helpful. The only downsize was the fact that the room we had was a little bit too small for 2 adults+1 child.

Very nice location, close to main streets and attractions. Clean and nice, bed very comfortable, staff polite and helpful. There is no breakfast but in close proximity there are coffee shops and pastry shops, restaurants and shops. Everything was excellent and we will definitely go back again. Great value for money.

Great hotel in a central location. Very comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. No breakfast was available but drinks and biscuits we're available 24 hours. The hotel would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues as there was no lift and quite steep spiralling stairs. Would certainly stay there again.

The hotel itself was excellent from the lobby to the free coffee and snack room to the bedroom and bathroom. The location was ideal to explore Thessaloniki by foot and see all of the major attractions. Above all, the staff made our stay extraordinarily good by going beyond to be accommodating.

This is a wonderful little hotel in Thessaloniki. Friendly and helpful staff. Interesting building. View of the Roman Forum right from our balcony. Centrally located within walking distance of almost any attraction you would want to see. You should know that this hotel does not have a lift, but it does only have three levels and a wide spiral staircase so for most that will not be a big problem. They will help you with luggage if you request. We really enjoyed our 3 day stay.

A great place to stay.
Had a great time in this vibrant city. The hotel was right in the heart of the town, just a 10 minute saunter along a wide, beautiful colonnaded road to the harbour, The room was not large, but it was clean, the air con was quiet and the staff pleasant and very helpful. Thessaloniki is a great place for a short stay, with large numbers of excellent restaurants and friendly bars. We are already planning to go again next year!
