I reserved 3 rooms, after checking in late went to the room and noticed signs for construction in the elevator. We were on the forth floor apparently the heart of the construction, at 0830 the qork vrews started to drill, sand, bang and just be louds riggt outside our door. Ironically thwre is a sign when you get of the elevator ro please be quit. Apparently does not apply to them. Hoping to sleep in after a long day was not happening.
Staff apologized and acknowledge the problem and stated corporate would not let them post online there was active construction. And asked for us to please complain because this was an ongoing problem with corporate apparently, corporate does not care about their guests as much as the staff in the hotel it, but they are directed by corporate on what to do I was not overly pleased after complaining they refunded me the half of One room, i had the opportunity to stay at another ibis the next day, when I returned towards the airport but I chose not to i bet you to say this will be my first and only experience staying at an Ibis. I forgot to mention two out of the three air conditioners did not work.
If they are doing construction, they should not be renting the rooms directly outside. where they're working, this was unacceptable. But obviously they were aware!!!
