A great stay at Thon Orion, we booked last minute and couldn’t fault the hotel especially based on how much we spent. Great location in walkable distance to all attractions with a splendid breakfast.

Besides our room being very small, everything was great! The breakfast was phenomenal and had every option. The staff were amazing and super helpful and secured us a cab to the train station. There is a castle next door to explore. The dining and shopping options just a block away were super convenient and added to our stay.

The hotel was in a perfect position for Bergen waterfront, historic area and restaurants. Our 7th floor room had a lovely view and was very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Thoroughly recommend.

Very clean, superb breakfast (!), friendly, helpful staff, excellent shower, good wi-fi. The rooms are quite small, but well supplied, quiet and comfortable. Close to tourist sites, walkable from the dock for small cruise ships (e.g. Viking), and one or two blocks from bus stops and airport shuttle. Would definitely stay again.

Great property in a great location. My only issue was the lack of outlets for charging. There were only two. one as part of a desk that didn't tolerate my European adaptor. The other was over the light switch as you first entered into the room. The rooms, as is typical of Tromso, are quite small.

This hotel is in a great location, situated between the Bergen Castle and Bryggen historical shopping area. The rooms were decent sized for European hotels. We booked a city tour, and it conveniently picked up right in front of the hotel. Then it was an easy walk to get some food. I definitely want to go back to Bergen and spend more time exploring, and when I do this is where I will stay.

great location excellent breakfast, thats it.
Ths was my 3rd stay at a Thon hotel on this trip which also included 3 nights at the Clarion Collection hotel Bastion and a berth on the Havila. The hotels location is spot on, central for everything. Staff at reception were helpful and checking in was quick. Breakfast was excellent, as expected. The biggest let down was the room, I have never stayed in such a small room, I had booked a standard double, had nice views over the city but i had to live out of my suitcase which ended taking up half the avaiable floor space. 6 hangers in a space fit for 4, no drawers or cupboards for anything else, if you are single you could use the second bed, if you are a couple then forget booking this room type. The shower was ok, the sink was small and your knees hit the doorframe when you used the toilet. Oh and becareful with the room door, it opens outwards???
