I only have two minor complaints, the mattress is too hard and the water pressure in the shower is not very good, takes forever to take a shower. Otherwise, this hotel is fantastic.

Newly renovated, room bright and clean, staff are very polite , Food at Maison Mizuki is amazing, but the mattress not as good as many other five star hotels. The breakfast is very good but too busy.

Hotel was revamped. Rooms are very fresh and bright looking. Breakfast was expensive, for that price the spread was rather basic for Five star hotel.

I’ve enjoyed traveling to Bangkok many times over many years, but this was the first time staying at Sofitel and I highly recommend it! The location is perfect, the rooms are amazing, and the service from the front desk - in particular from Mira - was exceptional! Already looking forward to returning during my future travels, and even extended my original stay a few days.

Setting the standards
First time in Thailand and the Sofitel seemed the best hotel for our stay, we were not disappointed. The staff we super friendly and could not offer more service than they did. Breakfast was a huge range of hot and cold foods along with fresh fruit which was great. Housekeeping did a great job every day and we were never in need of anything. The location is exactly where you would want to be with access to everywhere. A big thank you from us to the Sofitel team for making our stay excellent.

The property was quiet and centrally located. It needed to be refurbished very dated. They closed the lobby and restaurants in the lower floors the last day we were there so it looks like a face lift is happening.
