This place was incredible. Amazing views. The staff were great and the spa and pool was awesome. Highly recommend for people who want to get away from the business of Bali and relax somewhere quiet for a few days.

This is one of the most beautiful, tranquil settings you will ever stay at. We stayed in a Panorama View Villa overlooking the pool. Incredible sunrises, amazing deck with couch and hanging egg chair to relax on. We saw monkeys from our room, but no bugs etc in the room. The staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly, they get to know you and your drinks order. Great selection from Restaurant for dinner and breakfast (we didn't have lunch there). Balinese dance performances each night or acoustic performance. Courtesy shuttle to town which is about 25 minutes from property. Plenty of day beds and sun lounges around pool, and pool bar. Complimentary 1 hour massage was amazing. Also complimentary afternoon tea and nibbles, great happy hour at the main bar - fabulous staff. Short walk with stairs down to the river beneath the property, but worth going down to see. There are a lot of stairs at the property, but very easily walkable, and there is an elevator from the lower rooms. Try and have at least 1 full day at the property without going anywhere just to enjoy the stunning tranquil setting. Would go back and stay again any time. Absolutely loved out stay at a very special property.

Toujours aussi magique.
C'était mon second séjour au Nandini, j'y suis déjà venu il y a 3 ans, avant le Covid. Tout est sublime, incroyable, l'établissement est toujours aussi bien entretenu, le service est toujours aux petits soins, vous serez des clients exceptionnels. Les tarifs du restaurant sont clairement élevés pour Bali, mais lorsque l'on se paie un hotel à 200 euros la nuit, on est prêt à payer son plat 12 euros même si ça reste cher pour Bali, c'est rien pour nous. Le Nandini est un établissement haut de gamme, on y attend donc de la nourriture de qualité et des plats à l'image de l'hotel alors vraiment vivez votre voyage jusqu'au bout avec le Nandini. Petit axe d'amélioration, la baignoire de notre chambre n'était pas clean. Nous n'avons pas pris de bain de toute manière, mais nous aurions apprécié que la baignoire soit plus nettoyée et remplacée si trop usée.

Amazing for heavy sleepers.
This hotel was lovely. The service was some of the best I’ve ever experienced. If you stay you should make a point of attending afternoon tea. They rotate the “tea” and snacks everyday. The pool was awesome. There is even free morning yoga with a guy who is very good at yoga. The bathtub was really comfortable for me 6’0” 250lbs and my wife at the same time. Wife really enjoyed the nightly chocolate. Now to balance that raving review that I would dismiss as a bot when I see it there are things which could be improved. There are rosters next door that start at 3:30am. Light sleepers should bring earplugs. The internet maxed out for me at less than 2mbs and I could only get that when the roster woke me before 6am. Most of the time it was less than 1mb. Also there was a period where the Internet was out because of something upstream of them. Which is to say email fine, VoIP calls first thing in the morning okay. Anything more would lead to disappointment. Their next door neighbors were using a chainsaw all day. Not the hotels fault but definitely made enjoying the pool and jacuzzi less relaxing. There weren’t any yoga blocks at yoga which bothered my wife. There were wine bottles and opener in the room but the place where wine glasses would hang was empty. I’m sure they would have brought some if asked.

I love Nandini
I absolutely love Nandini Jungle Resort. We were there over Valentine’s Day. The staff is friendly. Iwan and Pranta were very attentive. My boyfriend and I had a 3 hour spa day with a flower bath. I love the property. One thing is there are a lot of stairs!

Heaven on Earth
After travelling around Indonesia for over 3 weeks, we chose this location as the last place to stay, as the saying goes, YOU LEAVE THE BEST FOR LAST. And it sure was an amazing experience. The ambiance is superb just like a peace of Eden's Garden. En blandet oplevelse
Omgivelserne er fantastiske og personalet søde, men.. Hotellet er ved at være lidt slidt og der mangler altså lidt på renligheden. Der kravler myrer rundt i morgenmadsbuffeten og vi så sågar en mus i baren. Vi var da indstillet på at der ville være dyr, når det nu er i junglen, men de skal ikke være at finde i eller omkring mad og drikke. Vi havde to overnatninger og oplevede hver nat at der kom en hund ind fra gaden, som gør/hyller hele natten. På vores anden aften oplevede vi hundens ankomst og personalet gør ikke noget for at få hunden væk, men lader den frit løbe ned til hytterne. Derfor havde vi en meget blandet oplevelse på dette, ellers meget smukt placerede hotel.

The location is amazing and the staff very kind. The original villas are in my view a lot better than the new ones. They are smaller and in need of some TLC but the outlook more than compensates for the minor issues and the manager is outstanding.

Jungle paradise!
Exquisite! Amazing attention to detail. Everywhere you looked there was another delight. The staff were so friendly. The chef that created morning omelette was a master in her craft! Sat on the balcony watching monkeys hanging out. Beautiful setting, beautiful room, excellent ‘hot’ hot tub in the middle of the jungle. There are a LOT of stairs. Not ideal for anyone with limited mobility. There are an endless number of sights to see in the area.

The staff was absolutely amazing. The guests were treated like a family and looked after. I fell ill during my stay and called the reception to enquire about a doctor. Iwan, the manger, called me back straight away and helped in every way possible. The view from my room was unbelievably beautiful and i would definitely go back to Nandini.

Secluded and peaceful
A perfect place to unwind and relax. The meals at the resort were expensive but as the resort is so far from anything it was the best option for us. The pool was stunning however it was best utilised in the morning till mid afternoon as it did get chilly as soon as the shade came over ( understandably as it is in the jungle). Absolutely loved the feee yoga each day by the pool as well.

Schöne Anlage mitten auf einer Plantage
Ein sehr schöm arrangiertes Hotel. Vom Empfang (mit welcome drink) geht es runter zum eigenen Häuschen am Hang. Sehr überschaubare Anzahl der Zimmer. Dadurch sehr schön ruhig. Alles Terassenartig angelegt. Links und rechts geht es in die Plantagen von Bananen und Kokospalmen. Der schöne pool liegt auf einer tieferen Ebene. Von der geht es weiter runter zum sehr kleinen Spa. 15 min Fußmadsage gab es gratis. 200 Stufen weiter bergab ist man am Fluss, wo man ebenfalls Spa Anwendungen buchen kann. Das Frühstück war sehr ansprechend und nicht zu viel. Rundherun Wälder und Plantagen.. sehr große Spinne an Abend herausgeleiten müssen. Moskitonetz vorhanden.

Dangerous - only for the sure footed
Arrived after midnight during a rain storm. Should have left then, but we had non-refundable reservations for 3 nights. The good: Management staff are nice an will quickly and easily book trips for you - take advantage of this service. Breakfast is ok. Massage at spa is nice, but pedicure is basically a polish change - but certainly not priced as just a polish change. Scenery is lovely, nice mountain views, very green. Do not go to this resort unless you are very fit and can climb up and down VERY steep steps/stairs without the use of handrails. There is a little outdoor elevator that is cute, but doesn't go most of the places you need to go. You have to go up and down stone steps to go most every where (pool, front desk, restaurant). They say if you want to have a massage at the river you have to use steps. What they do not tell you is that these are very steep steps that have a broken metal handrail in places and that is is several flights of steps - not just a few steps. Also the stone stairs that go to the room are very poorly lit at night and I was almost in tears going back to my room after dinner because they were wet, slippery and I had nothing to hold on too - the stone steps have stone walls with no handrail and are covered with ivy/grass. Very very dangerous. Also, food is very very expensive at the resort. Way over priced. Also, when we arrived our room was full of flying ants/termites. Do not recommend to go with small children or teenagers

Jungluxury at its finest!
Quiet but not boring. Tranquil but not dull. Nandini provided us with an incredible getaway for our honeymoon fit with amazing service, delicious breakfast and a top notch Balinese cooking class. Prepare for a 30-min journey into town but they have free shuttles (often times private) throughout the day so we didn't have to worry.

Immersi nella giungla
Se vuoi staccare la spina e sentirti fuori dal mondo e dalla civilta' , il Nandini e' il posto ideale. I bungalow sono deliziosi . I pasti e le attivita' sono un po' cari rispetto agli standard balinesi, ma ne vale la pena . Da non perdere assolutamente il massaggio di due ore sul fiume Ayung ( spa on the river ) . La location e la vista sono spettacolari . Complimenti a Iwan, il manager dell'hotel, e' davvero in gamba e la sua attenzione per l'ospite non finisce mai di stupirti Lo consiglio a tutti .

Great place in the middle of the jungle
This is paradise in the middle of the jungle. A place you just have to see. Great spa, pool and fantastic service. It is about 30 min away from Ubud. Or actually 30 min away from anything at all. When we were there it was raining heavily and the hotel fixed that by offering half price on the spa and creating a BBQ dinner with local dancers. It was a good fit for us while we were on our honeymoon. However since it is far away from anything you have to like staying there. The prices for food and drinks there are about the double or even more than the rest of the area without matching the quality. Glad we stayed, but if we visit again I would stay closer to Ubud.

Nature beauty
Hotel is surrounded by natural beauty which is the best part about it, else its very very far from the airport. Most of the times the hotel staff couldn't understand what we were saying. Only the manager was able to understand the English. room was not having any seating apart from bed which was lil uncomfortable. We really enjoyed the food there but that was not constant. One day it was superb but another day we were disappointed by the breakfast. On the day of our check out we asked for the breakfast in room as was not feeling well but the hotel staff directly said that we will be charged for that which was really rude.

Best hotel we've ever stayed at!
Stayed at Nandini Jungle for 2 nights - arrived late at night (10.30pm) and the staff were incredibly accommodating. Incredible rooms with the most serene views of the jungle - could not be a more relaxing place to stay. Pool is lovely and also very quiet, plenty of sun loungers to go around - open 24 hours which is nice (there is also a hot tub). Food was great and also a reasonable price - very good selection on offer! Breakfast was included and couldn't have been better - they do the best pancakes in the WORLD. A lovely bar featuring a great selection of cocktails and wines is open until late in the evening so perfect to relax in. Staff were lovely, friendly and chatty. Spa is also lovely (outdoor and very peaceful), and we received a free foot massage - regret not having more treatments! Overall, could not have had a better experience - we will DEFINITELY be coming back next time we are in Bali.

Amazing jungle stay
Friendliest staff, especially Iwan, it is a journey up to the hotel but definitely worth it for the views.. can't fault it for anything, best hotel stayed in Bali and we stayed in a few over our holiday..

Reconnecting with Nature
The Hotel is located up hill and near the river. the entrance does not look like a typical hotel entrances because it is surrounded by rice fields. But it actually worked because we were really surprised once we got in inside. The hotel staff are warm headed by one of their receptionist, IWAN. The villas are beautiful and spacious. they even have the Gondola ride that serves like an elevator. although it was faulty at times when we were there. The pool and jacuzzi facilities were great! and the spa really gives you a very relaxing experience. If you and your partner or family or even yourself would want to have a date with nature for your next holiday, Nandini Jungle Resort and Spa is one of the best hotels for you.

Amazing hotel in stunning location
This hotel is in a stunning location in the jungle overlooking a river. The pool and hot tub are the ultimate places to relax, and the rooms all have balconies, which are visited by monkeys. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff were some of the nicest most polite people I've ever met. Only thing I would say is that this hotel is a 30 min drive out of Ubud, and the shuttle only leaves 3 times a day, so if you don't take that a taxi costs about £10 (if you haggle!). The food and drink in the hotel are a little expensive compared to Bali prices, but eating there is a very relaxing experience.

Amazing jungle stay
Can't say enough good things about Nandini. The staff is wonderful, facilities are lovely and the food was excellent. Try the river massage, it's amazing. Not for anyone wother difficulty walking as there are lots of stairs.

Maravilloso. Repetiriamos 1000 veces.
El hotel fue maravilloso. Espectacular la jungla. No hay otra palabra para describir el entorno en el que se rodea el hotel. El servicio, la atencion, la habitacion, todo increible. Entrando en detalle, la habitacion era de grandes dimensiones, con una muy comoda cama con mosquitero y terraza y el banyo tenia muy buenos espacios. Todo muy limpio. El hotel esta un poco apartado como es natural, pues esta en la jungla, pero muy facil de llegar en coche (nosotros rentamos uno). Simplemente espectacular. 100% recomendable.

Great hotel in the middle of the jungle!
The hotel was lovely! It is literally in the middle of nowhere but so beautiful! It's about 35 mins into Ubud and there are free shuttles! It would be nice if there was one returning in the evening so you could have dinner out! The restaurant is very expensive! spa was amazing in a great setting! Good breakfast!

Lovely isolated hotel in depth of jungle
Although it's geared towards a romantic retreat for couples the hotel performs very well as a retreat location for lone travellers. Each bedroom with ensuite is sited in a thatched villa with an outside balcony. Most balconies are not overlooked - a few exceptions being the villas next to the gondola (=jungle lift, the hotel is built on a steep slope). Jungle creatures far noisier than any sounds coming from other guests. Villas seem to be well soundproofed.
