The people were on drugs. Not an assumption, they were actually on something like zombies. It was dark inside, the staff weee zombies, felt very unsafe, and left right after we got in to the lobby and had a look around.

The place is not really a hotel, it's a homeless shelter. It should not be called a hotel. The smell was disgusting.

Tourists!! Don’t stay here!! I work as a seasonal employee in Denali. Had 8 hours to kill in Anchorage, so I got a room here. First off, it seems like a homeless/prostitution hotel. People coming and going at all hours of the night. But the biggest issue for me was the blatant distribution of drugs in the parking lot, and it seems the night shift at the hotel is in cahoots with this activity. Seems dangerous in the area already, then add the drug sales and sketchy activity at the hotel itself…. Way too much for this guy.

I stayed this hotel on 8/24/2023. It was a horrible experience. The room is very small, dark and dirty. I was worked up by tick or bed bug bites. I killed several of them and some blood on bed sheet. I end up sitting through the rest of night. I told the hotel stuff and was told that they are going to report to the hotel manager. No one contact me since then. I really like to ask for refund. They should take this seriously and do something about it.

The toilet was not clean. Place can be noisy sometimes. The hotel manager woke me up at around 3am (she knocked on wrong door) and it was impossible for me to fall back to sleep.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Do not let the price fool you. Sounded like a good deal but it was not even worth anything to stay here. First of all do not book this hotel on Expedia because the hotel will not have your reservation when you arrive. Second of all the location is in a sketchy part of Anchorage. We were woken up a 1am to people moving into the room beside us and the walls are thin. There was no lock on the door and the bolt did not work. We could not sleep because of multiple people and cars in the parking lot. There was constantly people yelling, talking and coming to the hotel. I felt very unsafe and was afraid my vehicle was going to be broken into. We were woken up around 7am by the sound of cop sirens. Looking out the window over 6 cop cars showed up in the parking out and arrested someone. When leaving the hotel one of the cops expressed his concern for us being in the area and made sure we had another hotel to go to.

This place looks sketchy and unsafe. Room is not what you expect from a $100/night. Front desk has no person staying and dimly lighted. Had to buz in to get to the front desk. Can’t trust to leave your belongings in the room. Photos in their website do not represent reality. You have to climb stairs to get to front desk. Good thing is we have enough time to transfer to another hotel.

I went in to check into my hotel room, and no ones at the front desk. The only guy at the front desk was passed out in a chair behind the counter. I talked to another person taht was on their phone and after 5 minutes asked if I needed help. They said they overbooked their rooms so i have no other place to stay the night. The person then told me they’d be back real quick. After 15 minutes, no one came back so i called the front desk 3 times and on the 3rd time someone actually came out and told me to contact expedia. The person before came back with a drink and a plate of food and didnt even bother checking to see if they had an extra room. Terrible service. Would not recommend to anyone.

Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel-my fiancé and I tapped out after a couple of hours. Drug deal in the parking lot as we walked in, homeless people standing at the front door asking for money and rides, you need to get let in by a buzzer. Smells like mildew and cigarettes, gal checking us in had a skillet of ham and a rice cooker going at the counter, so making her lunch as she checked us in. One towel, cigarette burns in duvet, toilet not flushed. We left to get dinner, vagrant sitting RIGHT outside our door watching our every move, more homeless/ druggies have since accumulated and are now in the building. We booked a different hotel over dinner and left without a word.

Two of the power outlets didn't work and were lose, there was no smoke detector in the room, there were no screens on the windows, no way to adjust the room temperature, the shower leaks. According to the person I talked to on the phone there was a frig in the room and there was not. Security during the day was lacking as this is in an area where the homeless camp. The place is a bit run down. Location is good.

Just be warned if you are very sensitive to noise. Some people make a lot of noise during the night: running in the hallway, talking very loud on the phone, etc. And it seems like noise insulation is not great. The place is located next to a high way so there are cars driving by constantly, which again adds more noise. Also, when the next room turns on the exhaust fan in their bathroom, again you will hear the noise and it's pretty loud at night when you're trying to sleep.

My room didn't have any towels, wash cloths, the bathroom door wouldn't open. The room doesn't have a phone. They kept my drivers license. My key card to get into my room did't work and they didn't offer me another one.

My room has a window that can’t be closed and the staff doesn’t give a damn, saying she couldn’t do anything about it in a rude way. This makes the outside noise even more annoying. Someone played music in the middle of the night. The room didn’t have towels. And the pillows and quilts had a strong musty smell. The worst hotel I ever stayed.
