Highly recommend, large room with amazing views
I loved my stay. The view from my room was spectacular. The room was very spacious and comfortable and I love that each room has its own unique twist. The location is great, it’s so much more peaceful than Amalfi, not dealing with the huge crowds and it’s only a 10 minute walk to Amalfi (use the pedestrian cave) when you do want to visit. Great restaurants and a nice beach! What really stood out was the service here. Carlo was perfect and so so helpful with my large luggage upon arrival and departure. He went above and beyond.

Hotel was great with amazing views. The rooftop terrace for drinks was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful. It was nice being away from the madness of Amalfi and only a 15 min walk away. Would highly recommend

Beautiful location, spacious rooms, very clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent and hotel is very close to Amalfi (probably 20 minutes leisurely walking). Excellent location in Amalfi coast, great dining options and lovely people!

The rooftop terrace was fantastic with beautiful views of the town & sea to look down onto. The breakfast was extensive & the room was very pleasant. With it being a 5 minute walk to Amalfi, the location was perfect. Would recommend!

Excellent Full Service Hotel
This was a lovely hotel with surprisingly robust amenities for a tiny town (spa, etc.) The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the view from our room was gorgeous. The service was above and beyond, especially Carmela and Carlo. We felt welcome and well cared for and would certainly stay again.

Carlo was my super hero. He carried our bags up allwyways with steep steps to the hotel. Then was there, with a smile, to help with any issues we had. He is the best. Excellent hotel.

Great Option if Visiting the Amalfi Coast
Palazzo Ferraioli Hotel provided a memorable experience for my wife and I celebrating our anniversary. It is a slight challenge to locate, but the locals in Atrani are very helpful and guided us to the appropriate alley way. If you contact the hotel upon arrival, they will assist you with your luggage up the stairs and to your room, which at that point you will not get lost trying to locate the hotel. My cellphone was not operable so we took our luggage up the stairs ourselves, which was a bit of a challenge....there are to say a few steps you must climb to reach the hotel reception. The room we stayed in was 503, and the view was amazing. The room is very spacious and they provide you with plenty of towels, robes, slippers, bath products. Our only slight displeasure was the air conditioner in the room only works when the key is inserted into the room slot and the windows are closed. Since we visited in hot August, the room upon entry from a day of walking around Atrani, Amalfi, Positano was very hot and stuffy, but after about 30 minutes was comfortable. Staff here at the hotel made for a very intimate and welcoming setting. I cannot say enough about Carlo. He works what seems everywhere in Atrani. Everything we asked for, Carlo delivered with a great attitude and made us felt welcome. The result was one of my most memorable vacations I have ever had. The breakfast buffet was decent. We did eat on the roof one night and the meal and drinks were wonderful.

For those seeking an Amalfi Coast stay as well as cost-cutting and quiet, Atrani in general and the Palazzo Ferraioli is a sweet and satisfying find. Yes--there are those 80 plus stone stairs to the first floor--but where on the Amalfi Coast do you not have to climb up and up enjoy its riches and scenic gifts? Lovely complimentary breakfast. Carlos is the smiling, funny, and ever helpful strongman to get luggage up and down those stairs.

Loved this place! If you want to go to the Amalfi coast stay in Atrani it is waaaaaay less populated and the town of Amalfi is just around the corner (maximum 10 minute walk!!) Hotel Palazzo was amazing the staff was very friendly, the masseuse & the roof top server were especially excellent. There is a lot of stairs to get to it but they will meet you at the bottom & carry your bags for you. They have a spa and rooftop jacuzzis as an extra bonus! The view from the big open windows is also a must see!

Just came back from our 20 year anniversary Eurotrip and our last stop was the Amalfi Coast for 4 days! Looked over multiple hotels and decided to stay here in Palazzo Ferraioli because of the amazing pictures and service reviews, and it did not disappoint at all. First, let me say that yes, there are stairs as everywhere in here, and it is part of the experience and charm of the Amalfi Coast, but what really stands out in this hotel is the service! Vincenzo, Daniela and Carlo and such a great group of people, always with a smile on their faces and ready to make your stay as great as it can be! First day we came tired from France, and just booked what I considered “the best massage I’ve ever had”. This is not your typical “Fancy Spa massage”, but a real massage from Daniela, that will wake up your senses and leave you ready for your whole vacation, just Amazing! Then Vincenzo at the reception, the guy is always happy, smiling and ready to tell you where to go, your best options for transportation, what makes sense and not, where to eat to avoid “tourist traps” etc, he was so helpful and attentive all the trip. And then you have Carlo, guy is just a “character”, typical Italian dude with a smile and such a customer oriented attitude that you just can’t keep quiet around him. In summary, beautiful hotel, amazing views from room and Solarium, superb customer service. Thank you Vincenzo, Daniela, Carlo and Antonella for such a wonderful attention during our 20th Anniversary!

Staff are all friendly and location is wonderful . We would definitely go back . Breakfast is a nice plus with delicious cappuccino. The only negative is the steps leading to up to the hotel but once you arrive it is worth it. The rooftop is superb.

Didn’t start off great. Checked in before time and was ushered to the upstairs patio to have a drink and snack while we waited for our room only to sit there for an hour and never got service. Once we got our room, the door wouldn’t shut without slamming it, the robes had holes in them, there was a weird card someone had left that was under the sheets (ie, questions if they changed the sheets), and the final kicker was we had 2 cockroaches in our room.

So, I have very mixed emotions about our stay here. Beautiful spot, wonderful and accommodating staff! The property is very dated and in dire need of a refresh. The rooms are not well appointed and worthy of a 4-star rating, so be prepared. Atrani is a lovely, quiet village with great restaurants and very little going on. Short walk to Amalfi if you want shopping and a more lively environment. All in all, I would go back with a more realistic expectation.

Read this before you book this property. Pros: 1. Day reception is very nice. 2. The porters are amazing. 3. If you pay extra for a room with a view, it’s an amazing view. Cons: 1. If you need the elevator, which we did, there are 84 uneven, angled stairs to get to the entrance, before you even get to the elevator to go to the rooms. 84. Every time you come back to the hotel. 2. The wifi is sporadic at best. It never worked at night and hardly during the day. 3. If you call the night desk for help, you’ll get excuses and “not my job” - if he answers your call at all. 4. Our room was infested with ants around the balcony doors. We called for help. He sent someone with an almost empty can of bug spray. We were left to spray and kill them ourselves. 5. You are only allowed one room key. You need it to work the lights in the room. You have to return it to the front desk whenever you leave the property “for security”. Seriously. You can’t take your key with you. 6. That being said, they know when no one is in the room. We were very careful to put the “do not disturb” sign on the door as we were leaving, but they knew we weren’t there. They went in and cleaned anyway. Our stuff was moved. I never would have allowed cleaning without packing and locking my suitcases. The sign was left inside the room on the desk. For me, this is a huge violation of privacy. 7. The 8 min walk to amalfi is 15 min per google, no sidewalks.

More like a 3 star hotel
It quite hard to find if you are coming on foot from the boat unless you know where to find the tunnel short cut. The room was small - more suitable for a couple not to girl friends with luggage. The bathroom was nice and clean, but one towel had a hole in, one of our sheets had a stain on, a cracked window - not what I would call 4 star. The wifi was also very slow. None of these things really bothered me. what did bother me is that the use of the spa was not included in the price of the hotel.

It wasn’t easy to find the hotel, you have to go so many stairs to get to the reception ( you can’t get there with car ), there’s nothing around the hotel ( have to go to the next town ), if you have car you have to park it about 1/2 mile away, the room doesn’t have black out curtains, room wasn’t very clean, bed is terrible

Could not ask for a better location. If you’re a mature traveler and prefer not to be in the center of crowds or noise, but like to be walking distance to restaurants, shopping and mass transit- this is the place!! Uniquely decorated, super nice staff and really good breakfast. Carlos and his daughter Enza were delightful. The balcony views were like postcards. Definitely worth a second stay.

Love the location in a quiet area in Amalfi. There is no parking near by, and getting to the property is a lot of stairs, specially if you have heavy lugagge. But the staff is wonderful, beautiful views, comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Lovely, if you are looking for a respite from the crazy.

The hot tub amenity is a scam. They have 2 hot tubs on their roof locked under a cover. The first day they said it’s dangerous because it rained for 20 minutes. The second day they said it was too cold for a hot tub. Never opened the hot tub on the roof but always directed us to the indoor hot tub at 80/person/hour.
