We have stayed here almost a dozen times in the last two years. It’s an older motel but well staffed and clean. Only complaint is the rampant weed smell permeating the vent system.

Older hotel but decently maintained and a phenomenal staff. We have stayed there roughly 10 times in the last year or so and would recommend the King rooms to anyone needing an economical place to stay in the area.

Our favorite reasonably priced hotel in Elizabeth City. We've stayed here about 10 times and keep coming back. It's an older hotel but decently maintained, clean, and the staff is phenomenal.

The bed was quite comfortable, but the problem started in the morning -our shower was not working at all, so we could not shower. At checkout, we told Tony, the manager, who made a note of it, but was otherwise unapologetic or concerned. We asked for a partial credit for the stay, but were refused. Stay at your own risk.

One Day Stay
We booked through HOTEL.com and I our information was not transferred to Quality Inn in Elizabeth City NC. We called customer service under Hotel.com to resolve this issue. The room was not cleaned (trash can was molded) and the sheets were stained.

We have stayed here multiple times. Clean, friendly staff, safe, and convenient location. This stay was the worst but because of other people staying there. The most recent contract crew was rude, loud, littered constantly (broken bottles, trash, etc.) and the smell of marijuana was pretty much unbearable. I know that the staff has limited control on this however I would suggest they contact the company that booked the rooms and lodge the complaint to avoid further issues/loss of customers.

This is one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. There is constant noise at night coming from cars, music, people having loud gatherings, shouting , yelling and arguing .I was not able to have a minute of sleep.

The room my sisters and I had was disgusting! It had fecal matter splattered on the door in the bathroom and blood stains on the carpet as you walk out of the bathroom. I have never seen anything like this before. The floors were filthy. Hotels. Com came to the rescue. Thank you for helping us!

We’ve stayed here multiple times. This was the least favorite of our stays but it wasn’t the hotels fault. There were a LOT of contractors staying there and they were noisy, rude, litterbugs, and the pot smell was rampant. The room and the staff were fine…I just wish people were more respectful to other guests.

Horrible Place to Stay
I checked in on Friday night and upon entering the room I found several roaches crawling around, I then informed the front desk of the issue and was given a new room upon entering the new room there was more roaches so I informed the front desk that my family and I would not be staying there so we left, upon calling to confirm the refund I saw that there was a second charge for the hotel and when I called to question it I was met with rudeness and un professionalism.

We’ve stayed there a number of times in the last year. The rooms are a little dated in their decor but it’s clean, the staff is extremely friendly, and we are comfortable with the motel and the area. I would definitely recommend it!

Lets start with check in, the manager Tony Patel was standing there making a lady cry degrading her because she came in with her belongings in a garbage bag. He kept telling her you better be able to pay and she kept repeating she already reserved her room and he says yeah but is therecany money left on that card? She asked is it because I have kids and he kept yelling at her while my hisband and I waited in line. She finally got her keys. After that we were told the rooms were still being cleaned, she was trying to find out if any were available and I just asked for any keys and told her we will go to the room later that night. We get to our room at 10pm. Everything looked good, I went to the bathroom and there are 3 punch holes in the inside of the door. Someone put toilet paper in it for some reason. I went down and reported it. Then in the morning I go for the cheesy breakfast and there are bugs by the trash can. Crawling bugs not flying bugs. I leave there and look at the pool and it is black. We will NOT be staying here when we come back to North Carolina.
