Overall disappointing. The WiFi was the worst I’ve had in China. The room was very old fashioned. There was no shower curtain and the towels were very old and ripped. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. On our first night there was no hot water until 9.30pm which was very inconvenient as we weren’t pre warned, although we were given a complimentary breakfast when we complained. Finally the driver arranged by the hotel to bring us to the airport was terrifying, driving c140km per hour while farting in and out of lanes. Overall I wouldn’t recommend.
We had a wonderful stay at Xi’an Ramada Bell Tower Hotel. We got our room upgraded upon arrival. The room was tidy and big enough to accomodate three adults. The staff were kind and helpful in meaningful ways.
Great location near center of city and subway. Very clean and comfortable with pleasant staff. Hotel arranged an excellent tour of terracotta warriors.

More than an hour to check in. Room was changed three times and we were tired after train journey from Beijing. Although there was a room Service menu with service till 1030, when I asked for food at 9pm, I was told that Chef had already left for the day. Not a single Staff was conversant with English. The only person who could speak something was very rude. I complained to the General Manager the following day and the rude staff as I was told was suspended.. Overall a terrible experience although I have used the Ramada chain in Mumbai,Colombo and several other cities. Location wise its an excellent property but not recommended at all. Stay away.
Location was good. Hui Min Jie was only a 5 mins walk away. The Drum Tower was 10 mins away. The Bell Tower was 15 mins away. Hotel was good. The staff was great and helpful. They gave us suggestions and helped organise a trip for us to see ththe Terracotta Warriors.
Chose this Ramada because of its location: close to the Muslim Quarter and Bell Tower. The nearest subway stn is BeiDaJie, connecting Line 1 and Line 2. Breakfast is adequate, but the setting is not impressive: big round table meaning shared dining space. Overall a good place if you use subway for sightseeing in Xi'an.

Well located hotel but most facilities muted as was undergoing renovation
Air cond not cold, pre-set the room temperature to 24 Celsius. We pay the 4 star rate but enjoy the 2 star air cond. Stayed 5 nights, complained about the air conditioner but end up given a fan to solve the problem.
Very very un professional.
Regret never leave earlier to move to other hotels

Air cond not cold, mosquitoes in the room
1. WiFi was poor, slow and some days was inaccessible, informed but in vain
2. Air cond temperature cannot adjust less than 24 Celsius bcoz is controlled by hotel to save the electricity consumption
3. Mosquitoes can be found in the room

A good experience, overall.
The frontdesk staff were helpful, though they did not give us wifi passwords at chec-in, and they gave us wrong directions to a store later in our stay. The carpeting in the rooms were stained and the light switches were impossible to figure out. But, the beds were comfortable, the showers were exceptional (the best I've experienced in China), and the breakfast was fantastic. The location was central to many of the key sights and easy walking distance to the metro.
I would stay thete again.
The hallway and rooms were a bit spooky and dark. Nothing could be done about brighter lighting as the building of the hotel was not really directed towards sunlight which made the room atmosphere uncomfortable and a bit creepy. Booked a suite and beds were hard and pillows had smell. Concierge was not helpful to call taxis which was inconvenient for us tourists to travel to other places in the city although the hotel is strategically located close to Bell Tower. Decided to check out earlier one day than we planned as everything was so inconvenient and asked the hotel to help pre-book a cab early in the morning to the high speed railway station, but they refused as they said they couldn’t accommodate on this - and instead, they booked the transport at the tour desk in the hotel at double the price of normal taxi fare. What a rip off! Never recommend this hotel.
Apart from accidentally booking a smoking room, we were all very happy with the quality of the hotel and its location. So far this is the best low priced 4+ star we have stayed in, in China.
Good location but room condition needs improvement
Pros:
- fast check-in (they would request some deposit)
- modern style
- close to the Bell and Drum Towners in Xian
- provide two free bottled water each day in each room
Cons:
- the room I got smell like someone had smoked there, even after the staff cleaned the room
- I stayed in Room 930 which has no window.
If you stay in a room that has window and that doesn't smell, I think it's still a good place to stay.
We stayed in this hotel just two nights. It is very conveniently located close to the main attractions in Xi'an. About 5 minutes walk from the Bell Tower. We booked a smoking room for 4 people by mistake but had no problems to exchange the room to the nonsmoking one. We actually did get two adjoining rooms which was very nice as we traveled with kids. The breakfast selection was very satisfying.
The location was right in city center. Room was reasonable size and modern. My complain is the breakfast when simple sausage or coffee were not done in a western way.
The name of your hotel. We went to the Bell Tower Hotel right opposite the Bell Tower only to find it was not the right hotel and had to ask a lady from Cartier to assist us in finding our way. She was very helpful and actually phoned the hotel to ask for directions. Too many light switches that were placed in the same location and I kept turning off the main power. The speed of the internet was inconsistent. How to use the overhead shower - no instructions... glad that there was the hand held option. Did not realise that the window between the bathroom and the bedroom was two way and this was a bit embarrassing when going to the toilet. It was quite refreshing to be able to have a television station that was in English even if it was an American broadcast.
Generally, the room was quite comfortable and I would consider coming back. The is all that I want to say.

Family trip
Good location, one more hotel, is good because you are close to down town activities, the personal at the hotel are helpful, they advice you for taxi cost, especially if you do not speak the language, some restaurants around and a market close by, they also have a tour desk in case you are travellling independent. Melz.
Ramadan Hotel located within walking distance to Muslim Quarter & Bell Tower Shopping Area but if compared, Bell Tower Hotel will have the best location as it is only located opposite Bell Tower, 2 big shopping centers as well as the Muslim Quarter. In addition, airport bus has a stop right beside it. Although Ramadan Hotel located slightly farther as compared with Bell Tower Hotel, but Ramadan Hotel has a more newer & comfortable hotel room / building. Furthermore, Ramadan Hotel has free wifi in the room as well as wide selection of breakfast buffer as compared with Bell Tower Hotel. If you travel in a group of < 4 persons, just take a taxi directly from airport & its only cost a total of < ¥150-00 per car after midnight (day time should be cheaper i.e. > ¥120-00). So it is not an issue if the airport bus does not stop in front of Ramadan Hotel because you can have more convenient mode of transport. There is also a local tour counter at the lobby of Ramadan Hotel selling day trip local tour with reasonable price i.e. starting from ¥480-00 per car of 4 persons to visit Terracotta & few historical places nearby. So there is no transportation issue here.

ramada bell tower hotel experience
The staff weren't helpful at all. they were not even courteous enough to deal with one check-in at a time.we were checking in then they swithed to another couple checking in when we were not even finish checking in yet. they were impolite, arrogant and I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. The bell tower hotel is better.with it's own way thru the bell tower.
This hotel looks new and modern. The rooms are stylish and comfortable.
The location is central and easy walking distance to the bell tower and Muslim quarter.
The staff were helpful when needed but not overly friendly. The buffet breakfast is good. No wifi in the rooms and the lobby wifi didn't work for the three days I stayed there. They had two English cable tv channels for movies and documentaries.
I think for the price this hotel is good and I would definitely stay there again.
We had a big room which was nice staff very accommodating ...we did have trouble with lighting in room couldn't work out how to turn them off on the first night ..bathroom was a little out dated but was clean ..would stay there again
I moved into the Ramada as my original hotel did not live up to my expectations, or their stated add online. The Ramada has Nice staff, most of them spoke OK English. The room was great, the service great and food ok to great. The lobby bar was a great Escape to relax, read and had ok wifi.
Our room was very nice, clean, and in a great location. Close to the Bell Tower and general city action. Easy to get to train station to catch bus to warriors. We were very pleased with everything about our stay and highly recommend it.
