Great nights stay
Stayed for one night on a bed & breakfast basis. Lovely hotel near to the centre of Malvern. Very welcoming friendly staff. Comfortable clean room. Lovely bar & guest lounge. Breakfast was varied & well cooked. All local produce. Lovely gardens & parking available on hotel drive. Also noted you could park on road outside. Would definitely revisit.

I loved our stay here. It was a last minute find and only for one night but next time it will be my first choice for however long!! The food in the restaurant was up with the best I’ve had and beautifully presented. Thanks for having us!!

Malvern hills
Loved our stay at cotford hotel, the decor is beautiful. We stayed in one of the basic rooms it was small but beautifully decorated and the amenities in the room were spot on. Very clean. Great location to hills and town which had a range of pubs and shops. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Have not got a bad word to say about this hotel. Malvern itself is beautiful, we only stayed one night as there are so many other beautiful places near by to visit as well.

Nice house from the outside. But horrifyingly bordello pink inside. And our room had low ceilings and no view, despite asking . Good breakfast. Restaurant closed.

Tea cups were dirty with some residue. Single room was very small. No Internet access in 2nd floor. Situated in centre, easy to reach station and other landmarks

Had a very pleasant one-night stay. A shame the restaurant had a planned closure that evening as we would have liked to have tried it, but no problem finding alternatives and the staff were very helpful.

Charming small hotel with excellent service.
The stay was excellent and I would have no issue recommending the place to everyone. The staff was amazing and very helpful with my different requests. The town was also lovely, with several restaurants and pubs - and several vegetarian and vegan options to choose from. The only very minor annoyance for me was that the electrical sockets were generally placed behind furniture, making it difficult for me to use them with my EU-plug adapter. But I could have probably asked for an extension-cord and have solved my issue that way.

Room unsuited for status.
I was put up at top of the hotel , wasn't ask if i had a disability with stairs. Wasn't helped with suitcase. Found the amount of staircases to much and difficult. Couldn't get in shower because gap to small in door to shower , so had to have stand up wash , Couldn't wash my hair , which is something i needed to do . Tv didn't work. Milk in pots had gone off. Breakfast was fine and enjoyed. Room not suited for someone , with disabilities and not slim in build. So feel unsatisfied with stay.

Nicely appointed boutique hotel with very good restaurant. Very nicely decorated for Christmas and a nice touch with a card and gift in my room. Proprietors are there every day and interact well with guests. Would certainly recommend.

A little disappointing...
We recently stayed on recommendation for two nights B&B, with Dinner extra. Menu is the same each day, once was enough for us. Obviously, a bit of an upmarket hotel in its day, but even so £3.00 for a small tin of Scheppes tonic to go with your Gin is taking the Mickey in my opinion. I don't know but I guess that booking through a third party you are allocated a 'lower' type of room. The hotel was certainly not full and our double for two nights was very small and not particularly comfortable. A special word of thanks to the very attentive young ladies who served us dinner...a credit to the hotel. Ultimately, would we stay there again ? No thankyou.

Friendly welcome in a beautiful setting
This hotel really is great - so warm and welcoming, set in a gorgeous garden which is perfect for enjoying a pre dinner drink. Room was spotlessly clean, bed was comfortable and the linen good quality. A short walk into town and also very near the beautiful Malvern Link Common. Can't fault this place, great value too.

Beautiful House and Gardens
This hotel is fabulous, beautiful old building that was built in the 1850s for the Bishop of Worcester, he had extremely good taste. The lounges and the dining rooms are beautifully set out. We had the Bishop Room No 6, beautiful room with a four poster complimented with red and gold upholstery, exquisite. Small ensuite bathroom, bath with overhead shower. We ate in the bar for lunch, very good menu, good food too. We had dinner in the restaurant, lovely menu using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Lovely food, well cooked and presented. Full English breakfast, including kidneys and black pudding. We will be coming back.

Beautiful building, lovely location poor service
This hotel is in a beautiful historic building ( the Bishop of Worcester's former summer home) and this is part of iots draw as it truly is beautiful and well restored. The other main attraction is the award winning restaurant which gets very good reviews and is booked up for weeks in advance That's the dilemma: They need to decide whether they are a small and beautiful hotel ahich happens to have a good restaurant or if they are an award winning restuarant which has rooms where diners can stay. . Right now they don't seen to be able to handle both as once the restaurant is running they do not have the capacity to assist other guests. As a non dining guest it was easy to feel that we were an irritant and simply getting in the way As others have commented the portion rules at breakfast are silly: the menu says " kidneys" you get one kidney, Mushrooms , you get one mushroom. Also the coffee pot for two is ridiculously small and requires a lot of running around by the polite but overworked staff
