Great stay despite the carpet being very wet in the corner of the room. We let the staff know and they sent someone up to take a look right away. People were friendly and helpful, rooms were nice, location on the river was fantastic. What more could you want….

The bartender Kater was Awesome!!!!! Very personable, made me feel right at home. Gorgeous bar/restaurant. My Stellas were ceispy cold just how I like. I will definitely be back!!!

Great buffet breakfast! Hotel was clean, the only downfall to me was that the shower pressure was not good. I have thick long hair and it would not have rinsed the shampoo out of it because the pressure of the water in the shower was terrible.

Had to wait 20 minutes at the front desk while they lady was on the phone. when i was accompanied she was completely rude and aggressive, accused me of stealing a credit card and wouldn’t let me check in until my partner came. also rooms are full of stains while there’s a note in the room telling us it’s fully clean. i’ve had a good experience with double tree until this recent visit. checked out a day early, would i book again? maybe if I'm desperate.

The manger fixed a problem at check in quick an easy after one of the staff members made a mistake counting hours to be wasted at check in an she gave extra time an few cookies that’s were great !

We enjoyed our stay here. For the most part it was very clean and met our expectations (for the price we paid) but the washroom wasn’t very clean - there was a ring of dirt/grime around the base of the toilet which was surprising. Also, this is minor but the pillows were very very large and not comfortable for sleeping. I looked around for other options and there were just the four pillows on the bed, all oversized. Lastly, this is more a disappointment with Expedia but we realized that the rate we paid through Expedia was significantly more than the rate we could get if booking directly through the hotel. So something to consider when booking through Expedia - I was surprised. I contacted Expedia to get it corrected and because it was a “non refundable rate” and they apparently couldn’t get ahold of the hotel via the phone, they couldn’t do anything. I would have said the hotel met all of our expectations and rated it higher if it cost $100 less (we paid $286 for one night, parking extra). Just a so-so stay - certainly not bad but not exceptional either.

For the price we paid for our rooms it didn’t include parking the hotel doesn’t have a lot you have to pay $20 a day for parking at a lot behind the hotel. They don’t offer continental breakfast or even free hot coffee. The tv channels were just very basic cable. Nearby there isn’t much to eat it’s been a while since staying downtown Windsor but it seems like a lot of the restaurants and pubs have closed. The hotel returns wasn’t even open. Best places to eat were at the Cesar’s casino just stay there rooms same rate, have places to eat, free parking, premium channels, and u limited fresh tea, coffee, pop etc
