It was a clean room and the ac unit worked very good. Our room 106 had pipes in the wall or something else that banged all night and kept waking me up. Almost like someone was knocking on the wall. If i ever go there again i will not stay in that room. That room shouldnt even be available until the banging is fixed. I felt like i got ripped off for having to hear banging all night. Was not worth what i paid which is why i went somewhere else after my weekly rental. And it took 6 days to get my room cleaned even after i requested it on my 4th day there. When i asked why it wasnt cleaned after requesting it i was told "i dont know" even tho my room number was wrote down on the desk for a cleaning from the night before when i requested it but besides that its not a bad place. I think it still has good potential thank you

I always stay here when I visit Williamsburg. Perfect location, free wifi and ample parking. I booked through Expedia and it was advertised they had complimentary breakfast but that is not the case.
Anyway, other than that this place is A1. Idk what is up with the reviews but you get what you pay for. It’s not fancy but it’s not dirty either. I recommend.

This waa a great trip and nice hotel. Very, very quiet and great location on the Williamsburg tourism strip. Many Roadway Inns can be run down and have poor service, but not this one! I will definitely be back.

Did the job for what we needed. We just needed to stay one night after going to Busch Gardens. The rooms are not updated and do not feel super clean. The bed wasn’t comfortable but we did not see any bed bugs. What you would expect for the price.

This place was terrible. I drove 4 hours for the weekend to see my kids and I had booked this online. First they gave me my room keys and went up and there was already someone in our room! Unlock the door and got the door slammed back in my face. Thank God they have the top lock latched. The receptionist excuse was she had just gotten there and she didn’t know! Get to room and Wi-Fi connects for my sons tablet then disconnects. It wouldn’t connect for my phone or my bfs phone both nights. Called the front desk and was told to forget the network and try again and that was all she could do. Plus there is a caterers place built into the hotel and it was extremely loud and packed the first night and no where to park. We almost got towed because of it. Will not be staying there ever again.

We stayed at hotel with a dog and were overcharged. When i called hotel they said the charge would fall off even though it posted and my bank said they have no record of refund. The hotel was fine. It was clean and convienient if i wasnt overcharged i would recommend.

Staff was very friendly, room was clean but the rooms are in desperate need of an update. The curtains in my room wouldn't stay closed because of missing hooks, safe didn't work. It appears they aren't paying attention to the aging furniture.

The staff was very friendly, and even though in the middle of an apparent renovation the building was clean. I was disappointed in how uncomfortable the bed was, and that none of the channels on the tv came in clearly.

Kiana,Thanks for the feedback. Apologies for the tv issues- we have had that tv fixed so it is no longer an issue. Our ice machine in the lobby was down for a few days but it is now back operational. Sometimes our front desk has to take a bathroom break or make a room call so that might be why no one was at the front desk at that particular time. We had a TV that was nothing but static. The ice machine was broken. The staff was not available at the front desk when needed.

Our room smelled terrible, room was not the cleanest, bathroom was dirty and the tub had hair in it . The pillows were very small and flat . When we asked the front desk for extra, they said there weren’t any. The service was terrible.

We were initially given a used room. You could clearly see someone had been laying across the bed. There was urine in the toilet 🚽 and their key card had been left on the table. The staff had left a fan in the room that is used to remove odors. When we complained they begrudgingly gave us a new room, an upgrade with a balcony with broken lock. And for the icing on the cake…finding where the hot water was located using the shower handle was an impossible task. And for the cherry….we paid in cash…forked over an extra $100 cash and the hotel still ran a hold on my debit card that is still present 4 days after we checked out. Between Expedia and the Hotel no one once to take responsibility and remove the hold. Thanks a lot.

The length of time it takes to come off your account is actually up to your bank and their policies. The breakfast is not free. The room was very old and dirty. The door to the room had large cracks. The only light that worked in the room was in the bathroom.
I do not recommend unless you need a cheap place for one night.
The hotel workers were extremely nice and friendly.
