The motel is in a strip mall. It is dirty. I felt unsafe from the moment I walked out of the lobby until the moment I checked out and found a new hotel (1 hour). There are many people who live there. As I was walking to my room a guy asked me if I was moving in. You deserve better, don’t stay here.

Room smelled of chemicals, dirty torn curtains, no screen on second floor window, filthy floors, broken dirty tub that backed up when you took a shower, plumbing not connected to wall in tub, broken trim around mirror. Stained sheets and towels. All this as a 200 dollar a night non refundable room! In a sketchy part of town.

Lobby smelled of cigarettes. Upon arrival to room couch had some type of crusty orange stain on the side. It was fine for a quick overnight traveling cross country but wouldn’t stay again.

My room had dirty floors, and the sink was filthy in the kitchenette. The AC/Heater unit cover fell off the first time my wife adjusted the temp.

Property is uniquely designed, or at least I have not seen it with other hotels. Rooms center around four courtyards, and 2 courtyards are found on each side of the central courtyard that contains the pool and office and altogether creates a building that is a long line. I would guess the building was built in the 60s or 70s, maybe early 80s. Room I stayed in had been modernized for post-covid. They were nice, but I did observe 2 cockroaches on the walls hanging out near the thermostat. AC unit in the room was quite loud. It sounded like something metal had come loose and was vibrating when it ran. I typically need a fan running to help me sleep, but the noise was too loud and random to help with sleep.

Good Option in North Tucson
Everyone was nice and helpful. Rooms were appropriate for the price point. Bedding was comfortable and the rest of the room amenities were fine as well. Breakfast was good and the warm food received good attention from the staff. Egg and meat options varied with the day.

Not respected hotels.com reservation...!
I was charged $260 and the room was not reserved for me. Upon arriving I received some dumb printout that my reservation was cancelled by hotels.com even though it was not refundable. Tired I had no place to stay. I will follow up on that $260. You will so hear from me!

Terrible. I grew up in Tucson. When this was tanque verde inn. Its a shame. The whole parking lot was blocked off. Maids were nosy and rude like I owed them somehow. First day i had to wait in lobby because they couldn't fix tv. Than had to switch rooms. Way better places to stay than this joke.
