As others have mentioned, this property is a hidden gem. Great place for a great price. Rooms are clean with lots of amenities (coffee maker, microwave, fridge). Though if you are looking for a place within walking distance of downtown, this isn’t it. It’s away from the hub of town. The staff is helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast small but good options. Dining area has a fantastic view of the dam. Nice touch of a local complimentary glass of wine during check in. The main reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is the highway noise. My room was not one with a view so less noisy. If you need a good solid 8 hrs sleep, you might pack earplugs.

This hotel is a hidden gym. It is a little out-of-the-way, but very worthwhile to spend the night there. The hotel is quite old. However, the rooms have been recently remodelled and a very high modern standard. Very friendly front desk clerk, Tammy was her name. Very accommodating staff for the continental breakfast.

Place is a little out of the way but has a nice view of the river and dam. Staff was very friendly-Jenifer in the morning was very nice and seemed to go out of her way to answer questions and take care of guests.

Short but sweet stay!
My family and I stayed one night here which was amazingly clean and nice. I wasn't expecting a well put together room for where the motel is located. The staff was great and was willing to work with me about late check-out. I appreciated my short term stay and will be back soon. Thank you staff for making my trip easy.

Amazing views of the Dalles Dam and Cumbia River. Room was well presented with nice art on the walls, colorful bedding and well placed furniture. Very clean and comfortable.

The only thing that I would suggest would be to add some outdoor ashtrays to the property. The rooms are all no smoking, of course, but people do still smoke cigarettes. The other thing was that there wasn't a table in my room. Had to use the ironing board, laid on the bed, to play cards, and to eat my dinner.

Pleasant staff in a clean older updated property overlooking the Columbia river. The mattress was very broken down in our room and the king room had a 3/4 shower but those were my only issues.

The room although a little small was very nice. Bed was very comfortable and linens were good quality. The windows open which I love and it overlooks the dam. Breakfast was simple but good especially the mix berry syrup for the waffles. Staff friendly and helpful.

I really enjoyed the view from the window, can see mt.hood, look at the Columbia gorge, and then the dam, the fresh water pool is nice and refreshing.

Round 2 was another great stay. Small room, but perfect for a good night sleep. The queen room doesn't have a table to eat on, fyi. Close to fishing. Dining and shopping not far. (2-10 miles depending on what you want.) Parking spot directly in front of the room. Wonderful staff. Will stay again

Spectacular View!!!
This was my first time staying at the Celilo Inn. My queen room the first night was in a building not on the River front and had a room above it. I wasn’t thrilled when the upstairs occupant got up and started moving about -presumably to leave at 5 am and I could clearly hear each and every footstep like there was inexpensive laminate flooring in that room. When I got going for the day, I went to the front desk and asked to be relocated to a room where there was not room above. The staff was accommodating and I was moved to a River front room. Spectacular views. Ask for a River front room if you have the option. I would stay here again!

This was a very nice property. The room was very clean and the view was amazing! We stayed two nights and housekeeping refreshed our room after the first night even though I was told every 3 days. At check in the front desk person was too busy talking to a co-worker to give me much information about my stay. The breakfast the next morning was less than desirable. When we arrived at the breakfast room the coffee, fruit, milk, waffle batter, and rolls were empty. We had to wait for things very slowly to be replenished. I would have given the hotel 5 stars but the front area customer service was lacking.
