Good experience to communicate with staff who speaks “half" English but able to get things done. They are able to have my baggage open without damaging the lockset. How upset I would have been without my clothing.
I enjoyed staying in this hotel. They changed their hotel name and this hotel is under new management. It seems that they have fewer customers compared to two years ago. It is nice and quiet and I liked it.
Pros: Large Modern Hotel, Reasonable priced Room Service Menu, Separate Bar and Dining Area, Scenic Interior, 7/11 and Fruit Shop close by, Airport Shuttle available at reasonable cost, Good Free WiFi in Room, Well equipped rooms.
Cons: Located in a Commercial Area, Business Area Computers are set up for Chinese only working so I was unable to print out my flight ticked.
We stayed at the HIE in Taoyuan this past weekend and enjoyed it very much. Being the weekend, we couldn't find many places to eat, but the hotel did provide an excellent breakfast. The hotel staff was very helpful, providing directions to get to the Holiday Inn located on the other side of Taipei via bus, subway and shuttle, including a call to the Holiday Inn to arrange it, directions to a restaurant for lunch, and mailing to a future destination in Taichung a book that had been left behind.
