Thank you for your comments, and I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. I appreciate that some guests do like the Georgian style which can include sloping roofs, and some do not, and I have noted your comments. Water in the rooms is safe to drink, and if guests require bottled water it is available. I was surprised at your comments regarding unhelpful staff, as you will see from other reviews we have a 99% rating for helpfulness. Regarding breakfast, we do offer a breakfast basket for breakfast in bed which is listed in the room via a door hanger, and in the room folder, but to be able to prepare this at the time you would like it delivered, it does need to be ordered the night before as stated. We appreciate this may be missed, and on quiet days it may be possible to fit in, but on busy days it is not so easy as on this day. I think this was explained, but maybe where the communication is not clear. Once again I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay, and I will raise your concerns with the team.

Thank you for your comments. I am a bit concerned at which room this relates to as we cannot find the shower causing this problem. As we have been recently completely refurbished one would hope this does not occur. Regarding the bed, we do have new beds and quality mattresses throughout, and we have had good feedback, but appreciate that the firmness or not of a bed suits different people in different ways. I have also fed your comments regarding housekeeping back to the team as this is something we pride our selves on and receive good reviews.
