I've stayed here before. Never in the past has this hotel required a deposit. Now they do. The front desk requires a $100 deposit to check in to this downtrodden, decrepit property. Upon opening the door to my room, I was overcome by a foul odor that almost knocked me unconscious-- it smelled so bad, even the freezing temps from the cold December air with the window left wide open-- it was bad. So I immediately returned to the front desk to change my room, and assuming since I already waited in line, I could request the attention of hotel staff, given the circumstances involving the misassigned, stench ridden, dirty room.
I was wrong.
"Excuse me there's a line" stated the front desk agent, who pretended like she hadn't just handed me keys to a compost of sanitary napkins.
I mistakenly used a slur in context, and she picks up the phone to call the police!
She called the police on a guest for using a word they bleep out on TV, as if it were illegal.
Finally, she gave me new keys.
F her. F this hotel. It's a dump.
