The service was ok and the property is located in a very good location with highway access. The rooms could use some updating and minor maintenance repairs. The carpet had a long cut from a section that had been repaired and it didn’t look very presentable.

Terrible stay all around. As a family of 6 we had to move rooms multiple times at the end of a very long day because A/C had broken and then the next room smelled terrible due to smoking - finally got an acceptable room the 3rd time. Wasn’t offered any compensation for the inconvenience. Will never stay here again.

We stayed in the 2-bedroom suite with the loft and it worked perfectly for our family of three. We each got our own bed and it was really nice to have two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a dining area. We loved all the space! The only complaint is that in the pictures, there was supposed to be a set of double doors for the downstairs bedroom, but there were no doors in our unit, so when you open the main door, you can see the two beds. And when somebody else is in the living room or in the kitchen, they will disturb the people sleeping in the downstairs bedroom.

Staff was not very welcoming. Free breakfast was terrible. Food was cold and had to ask for refills frequently for food/items (ex. Coffee was out, no plates, juice needed to be refilled, all food was cold). Suite was fair in condition.

This property was perfect for what I needed for a business trip I took and also that my family came with me. It was in an easy to access area and was a very spacious room. Staff was friendly and kind. Only downside would be the parking and there wasn't actually anything to cook with or eat off of in my room. The room came with a little kitchen and I was hoping to have some meals in it but we ended up eating out a lot because there was only one pot in the room and that's it. The parking at night was also limited. I got home late and had to park far from my building. Other than those 2 things, the room was great.

The staff was friendly, check in was easy, and the rooms were clean. The deposit I felt was a little high at first but after looking at the rooms it was worth it to ensure people don't tear them up. I will be staying at this property again

My whole experience in Sonesta ES Chesterfield was great! I stayed there for about 2 weeks. The room was perfect. All staff members and GM were very welcoming and they helped me with any my requests for the room! I appreciate them a lot. I will definitely come back.

I didn’t care for this hotel. Unfortunately we came in later so it was dark and felt a little unsafe. The rooms were tidy, but it appeared that they hadn’t deep cleaned in a long time. There was thick dust on the curtains, stuff all over the back of the bathroom door, stains on the carpet and even on the towel. The only thing I liked was that there were three beds.

The set up was amazing, spacious and clean. Plenty of amenities available. The breakfast was not pleasant but that’s why you have your own kitchen. Make your own breakfast! Lol. I enjoyed my stay overall experience was great. Definitely recommending to family and friends. Will return.

It wasn’t all bad, their was plenty of room for me and 4 others, but we had to ask for a change of rooms due to it being dirty and even the new room wasn’t cleaned properly. For $600 for 2 nights it was expected to be a better experience. Breakfast was very limited and practically all burnt and dried out, inedible.

Online they said there was a fireplace which is a lie. The linen was dingy. Spiderwebs in bathroom. Breakfast was burnt. Cold coffee. Fitness center only had four machines small dumbbells and a ladder in the middle of the floor. This was horrible considering the small space. Right outside my room there was a bench in grass and dog pooped all over.

Not what I expected
I appreciate the large space that we had. However, These are the most cheaply built lodging facilities that I’ve ever stayed in. There was a quarter of an inch gap in the front door where you could actually see daylight outside and the air poured in . It was freezing on the bottom floor and 25° higher the top floor because it was making the heat kick up because all of the cold air pouring in from the front door. So the people on the bottom floor froze and the people on the top floor fried .We had to stuff towels in the door the best we could to keep the air out. Nobody slept, because the bad temperature fluctuation it was terrible. They did do good job, putting the icemelt on after a minor snow we had. Breakfast was not existent. It was a bunch of bagged eggs and something that looked like bacon although I’m not really sure what it was. And when I got there 20 minutes before closing, everything was already put up. Then I try to get coffee and there were literally coffee grounds in the bottom of the coffee maker, and no coffee. It was a black paste with coffee grounds. I’m not asking for a lot, but can you please make this drinkable. As far as I’m concerned, we paid way too much to stay here, and probably will not choose this place again. Ceiling fans were dirty, and my toilet did not look that clean.

Two bedrooms and two baths were exactly what we needed for this trip. The concept here is terrific! With some updates (including new living room furniture) and a little better cleaning, this could be an exceptional place to stay. Worked great for our weekend. Property photos were very nice. Actual unit was very run down. Patched holes in the furniture. Dents in the appliances. Dents in the walls. Chipped paint throughout. Bathroom sink in loft area would not drain and the hot water did not work upon arrival. Had to call maintenance. It was eventually fixed the same day. Was an inconvenience after a long day of travel. Bathtub in loft area was SUPER slow to drain. Called maintenance and was told plumber couldn't come until the next day. We just dealt with it. Very disappointed. If we hadn't have pre-paid for the room, we would have checked out and went to another hotel. Exterior of property was in the same condition. Construction going on next door was noisy. Check in staff was SUPER nice and friendly! Would not recommend staying here. Especially for what we paid, I expected much better.

This hotel was good value. It allowed us all to stay in the same area for a great price. The only ding on our room was the floors needed a good cleaning and bed spread had some stains. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall it was a good stay.

Property Needs time to Get Better
I asked for a handicap room due to my disability and I was given a room that no handicap access to it. I was trying to give this location another chance since we notice that the management had changed and it takes time to get into a normal rhythm. Unfortunately they need a great deal of time to get the property back up to the luster it was.

The guy who checked us in was amazing and was understanding knowing that we had driven 22 hours from Arizona to get there all of the concierge were amazing I would give this place a hundred Stars if I could it made us feel at home and this for now on will be I go to place when we're on vacation only thing I would say is our room was missing a few items but it's okay didn't mind walking a few steps to get to the office thank you guys for making our Christmas awesome . May I add we usually do airbnbs but lately we've been running into a few that are not so welcoming of us due to our skin color in some places so we'll stick to hotels with hotel.com only thank you and God bless you all!

The units need major updating. The carpet was filthy with stains all over it. The doors into the unit and the bathroom were very stubborn-hard to open and close. We had a two bedroom unit which we thought would be great for our family, but there were no doors on the bedrooms so no privacy. One bedroom is just like an extension of the living space on the first floor and the second one is a loft upstairs. There is a king bed upstairs but nowhere to put your suitcases. There was no luggage rack. There’s hardly any room on each side of the bed, which is where I had to put my bag, so I had to squeeze by it to get in the bed. There was no wastebasket anywhere on the second level. The only good thing was that the sink for the bathroom upstairs was on the outside of the room with the tub and toilet. The area with the tub and toilet upstairs was super small. There were always issues with the keys not working. And even though this is a safe area, there were very sketchy people hanging around late at night outside smoking. We did not feel safe arriving back late at night. The entrance to our unit was around back from where we had to park, so you had to walk through like an alley area to get to where you enter. We will not stay here again.
