Dear Ms. Aloisi,Thank you for your review as well as we are sorry to read it because it doesn’t reflect the atmosphere and the services we give to our guest at the Hotel Gardenia.It's unpleasant to have to defend ourselves from so many unfair and malicious accusations, just because you had to pay 70.00 ( 35,00 x hour the first hour of delay is never charged) for having the driver wait at the airport for 3 hours longer than the scheduled arrival of the flight. and this despite the fact that you had been notified upon our confirmation.Please also note that the company asked for this fee, not us, and they also prepared a receipt for you to show to the airline so you can receive a 100% refund. As you can read in our several reviews, no one described their experience like you did…. We are going to clarify point by point what really happened so everyone can understand if your comment is been correct. 1)No one has ever complained about our American Buffet Breakfast, 99% of people staying with us saying that our breakfast is one of the best they ever had around Italy.2) It is not true that if you do not leave the card inserted the air conditioning does not work3) we give greater comfort to our guests by providing a room equipped with an ironing board and iron instead of feel uncomfortable doing it in the room4) Shower floods and Smelly bathroom, … in 42 years no one is ever and ever been saying that our bathroom are smelly or shower floods !!!5) We have a night porter, so the reception it’s available 24 hrs, but the e.mail are answered only from 8.00 am to 9.00 pm when the reservation office is open, anyway we have written in the confirmation that in case of delay or difficulties to phone at the hotel, someone will answer to the phone.Pointing out in the review “DO NOT STAY HERE DO NOT BOOK YOUR TRANSPORTATION HERE” and again at the end “DO NOT BOOK HERE” makes you understand how the review is very subjective and full of hate, for having paid a little extra on the transfer service which will also be reimbursed by the airline. And in any case, during your stay, you never did ever complain about the dissatisfaction that you list in the review.The Gardenia Hotel management it’s proud to welcome you back in the future, with our helpful and friendly staff.

About taxi we agree that Sorrento is not the cheapest in this regard. we do not notice disappointments on the hotel services, this could mean that you found everything perfect from the rooms to the breakfast service.
