Lovely place. We were greeted by a pleasant man at the desk. Rooms were clean. We had an elderly gentleman with us, and accommodated him to a more suitable room. Breakfast was great! Would recommend anyone to stay here.

Nice secluded place, big garden and gated parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of food for the breakfast, amazing coffee. Place is situated app 7 km from the airport in the suburb (Scandici) of Florence. Bus in the front of hotel will take you to the tram which goes to the centre of Florence, Takes app 30 minutes. Tickets are 1.5 euro and valid for the 90 minutes, same one for the bus and tram. If staying a couple of days take card with 10 tickets for 14 euros..Strongly recommend the hotel.

Scandicci Florence
Really enjoyed our stay the staff were helpful and approachable. The room was on the garden side so was quiet but the soundproofing improved this. The room was clean and included 2 small bottles of water every morning. We did not use the bar on our return from Florence. After finding our way from S.M. Novella station by tram exiting at Resistenza stop then catching the bus No 26 to the hotel which stopped near the hotel we went into and out of Florence the same way and didn’t find it a problem. The breakfast was very good and plenty of choice we started with coffee which I took back to the room before starting on breakfast again the staff were happy to do this.

We spent 4 nights here while visiting Florence and Tuscany. They offer a nice continental breakfast. We appreciated the free parking and the bus stop across the street. The pizzeria across the street is excellent. The room was clean. The bed was a bit too firm and the room was on the small side, but we would stay here again.

I had stayed at Hotel Marzia before with my son five years ago. It was good then and it was the same this time around with my wife. This time we stayed for three days and mainly visited the hilltop towns of Tuscany. It is an excellent hotel to both see Florence and to visit the surrounding area. Across the street from the hotel is the bus stop for bus # 26 that comes every 15 min. It's a short ride to the tram which takes you to downtown Florence all of it in perhaps 25 minutes. You can buy your tickets for the day at the front desk. Meanwhile, it's very close to the entrance to the north south autostrada. The hotel is comfortable, the staff friendly and the breakfast good. It has a private car park with adequate space which is a huge plus for those who travel with rented cars particularly in Italy. The restaurant across the street had excellent food. Overall the neighborhood was very accommodating and seemed very safe. The wifi worked well.

Great Base for visiting Tuscany.
I’ve stayed at the Marzia on numerous Occasions. Great base for your Tuscan adventure. 30 Minute’s to the most beautiful city in the world Florence. Just a tram ride away costing just over a €uro. Just make sure you validate your ticket, yellow box on board. The hotel is very friendly, a Continental breakfast, and a coffee a great way to start the day, after a comfortable nights sleep. Hire a car. You’re next to the main A1 motorway to Roma. Also a stones throw away of the rich Tuscan hill’s, the great Chianti wine region. Some beautiful views up there. Visit the joining region of Umbria, very hilly but some lovely mediaeval town and city, without a car it’s difficult to get to some places. I’d definitely recommend, the Marzia for your stay. It’s cheaper than the capital Florence, and motorway linkups.

OK but not really for long stay.
For the price the room was very small and felt very claustrophobic. Photos of the front with young ladies in sun loungers or chairs were not to be found when I got there and the great big dual carriageway virtually next door also was some what of a surprize. But I will say the air conditioning was very good and I did feel rather stupid asking for the remote when the control was the LED display and card key holder, the beds were excellent my was memory foam mattress was very comfortable and double glazing windows had excellent sound insulation which was needed as the road out was very busy and very noisy. It may sound rather arrogant but apart from one of the staff ( who was extremely helpful and I had a very good conversation with ) none of them could speak reasonable English which is now a global language and used by world countries to communicate with, which if in the hotel trade is a basic requirement. One of the female members of staff when I requested a change of room to a back room due to the noise at the front of the hotel, was very unprofessional in showing annoyance and some what barking at me, which only when I mentiond about no air conditioning she came to my room and demonstrated how to switch it on I was then able to breath with the windows closed. I will say the next day I was asked if i still wanted a change of room by the one staff member who could speak English but decline as the A?C was good.

Bella Italia
Great Hotel. Been there numerous times. Very comfortable rooms, with a great continental breakfast. Staff very helpful. 10minutes walk from the local tram stop. 15 minutes into the beautiful city of Florence. Food great, loads of restaurants and lovely wine. A small drive to the chianti wine region, in the Tuscan Hills. A well worth visit up there. Wine tasting is a must, if you're into your wine.

Marzia, Marzia, Marzia.........!
The room was very clean, good size. Adequate breakfast. Handy to good pizzeria across street. Plenty free parking. We stayed there as a less expensive option to staying in central Florence. We drove to nearby tramstop called Nenni-Torregalli that had free parking and caught tram into Florence. Tram ride was about 15 minutes. Buy your tram ticket at the newsstand inside the co-op. This is cheaper than buying on the tram

We stayed at Hotel Marzia for 2 nights in September. The hotel was quite nice and a good price. It's a little way out from town but it wasn't particularly difficult to catch the bus and tram into the city. Would definitely recommend it.

A comfortable family run hotel
We had gotten very late during our drive to the hotel - one of the management staff stayed up very late to accomodate our delayed arrival. the breakfast was decent and room was very comfortable. The bathroom is a bit dated and can benefit from some work. the hotel has ample car parking space. This hotel is 30 mins from the city centre and taking public transport is a good option. The busses are NOT frequent and on Sunday, the buss service is minimal and closes early. So be watchful. The staff was friendly although language was a bit of a problem. We were very impressed by their accomodating nature. If you go to the restaurant opposite to the hotel - watch out for the stealth tax - copperto - €2 per person.

Fantastic hotel
Cons: wifi coverage is poor and bandwidth needs an upgrade Everything else about this hotel is brilliant. Spotlessly clean and smells of cleanliness (weird I know!). Rooms are small and shower cubicle is slightly challenging depending on your girth but the place is in a nice neighbourhood, free parking (massive bonus in Firenze) and quite simply an excellent breakfast with great staff and excellent coffee to boot. If you have a car, stay here. If you're not afraid of a 20 minute walk to the tram, stay here. Can't recommend highly enough for value and facilities

Great value and easy access to Florence
The rooms were clean, but the furniture was dated. Breakfast was a decent selection of pastries and meats. The hotel offers free secure parking. The staff was very helpful in helping us navigate the area. The hotel is about 1.5kms from the closest metro stop into Florence. There is free parking at the metro.

Very comfortable and ideal location
Location was great with a bus and tram to florence which was not inconvenient at all. Staff were very friendly and understood basic English. We had wifi in hotel at all times. There was a penny supermarket across the road so we bought our own drinks and kept them in fridge on the room. Wardrobe was lockable which gave us extra reassurance. Room was cleaned with fresh towels daily. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient location if you are driving.
This is the cleanest hotel we have stayed in within mainland Europe. Really bright and clean. Excellent breakfast each morning and a brilliant location for those with hire cars, just minutes off the main Pisa / Florence motorway. Good bus and tram connections into Florence which takes about 30 minutes or so with the bus stop right outside the hotel. Excellent Tratoria / Pizzeria opposite the hotel which is packed every night and had a great atmosphere. The only one slight observation is that they do not cater for English speaking guests but we still managed OK.

Ordinary hotel with bad transportation
This is an ordinary hotel with bad transportation and bad Wi-Fi. Most Staff cannot speak English. Wi-Fi weak and often not available. Needs to take a bus (usually wait 20 minutes) to the tramway then 20 minutes downtown. Room is good but no coffee machine. Breakfast ordinary.

Hotel Marzia was a perfect base for our time near Florence. The staff spoke English and they were very helpful, especially explaining how to use the public transportation to and from the hotel into Florence. Our room was simple, but fresh and comfortable. It is a family-run hotel and they have decorated it with very lovely materials and color schemes. We would definitely stay here again.

Great park and ride hotel
The hotel was clean, some staff were friendly, other not great, young girl who does breakfast was wonderful. The Wifi did not work in the hotel, and we given a disabled room, 110. Great location for parking the car and taking the bus and team into the centre, tickets cost 3.20 each way you can use on both forms of transport. It can e a little tricky finding the tram from the bus and vis versa, so just ask someone! The hotel sell the tickets and they I've you a map too, there are good maps of Venice fre at the hotel too. Breakfast is ok at th hotel but the juices are artificial.

Hard To Find Gem
We loved this quiet, up to date hotel in fairly convenience-free neighborhood west of downtown Florence, but close to bus and tram transport into the city. Three-day or longer FirenzeCard gets you free admin to most museums and galleries and pays for bus and tram rides. Hotel has excellent breakfast, spotless rooms, quiet although close to front street and nearby Highway A-11. Sole drawback was some desk staff not speaking English. Price & location were high points.

A good base but a car is a must.
Positives - Staff were very friendly. Rooms were basic but practicle, tidy and cleaned every day. Breakfast was fresh and had a good selection. Plenty of parking available. Negatives - Was a bit further outside of town than expected. We had a car and took 30 minutes to get to Florence. Not much information about the services available (had to keep asking) a brochure in the room would have been useful. Little in the immediate location.

Unfriendly hotel staff
The hotel was nice and breakfast was awesome, but hotel staff were not very helpful. They had no information for tourists (not even a map) and gave horrible directions on how to get to Florence using the bus. Luckily there were two men heading to Florence who let us follow them, otherwise the trip would've been a bust!
