We left after the first night of a 5 night reservation because the room design and layout was inadequate. First of all there was no soap in the bathroom and the staff indicated that they were out of soap so they had to get some from another room. There was also no coffee available for the provided breakfast because their coffee maker didn't work. In the room, there was no place to sit at table to eat the provided breakfast so we had to either sit on the bed or stand. There was no counter in the bathroom for placing personal items. We had to use the ironing board that was in the closet to place a glass of wine while sitting in a chair and finally moved a small, dirty table from outside into the room for this. The room was clean but this was by far the worst motel room design/layout we have ever booked and the expected ammenities were lacking.

Their breakfasts are such a great touch. No breakfast room, they deliver to your door. Great food. Great service. We had a large room with fireplace, kitchen and king bed. Perfect for the 4 nights we were there. Check in was easy although we are glad we got there early as it was Super Bowl Sunday and folks were getting ready to head home to watch the game.

I loved the retro feel of the property. It was so well maintained for such an old property. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were so much better than the typical breakfast bar at larger chain hotels.

Cute, comfortable, clean, great complimentary breakfast delivered to room. The only downside was an unfortunate “off” next door neighbor causing me a sleepless night, but not the property’s fault.

Great place....fun breakfast options. Comfortable bed and great shower. Nice fireplace. Not sure if they were able to refund some time as we had to leave early. On Expedia it can be triy. Thanks to beach bungalows.

We've stayed here previously. It's a very friendly hotel with attractive clean rooms and it's located on a relatively quiet street with views of Morro Rock. The staff are exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The "free" breakfast is delivered to the room and tastes good, but the options are very limited. The crepe was also not very filling; I could have eaten twice as much and I'm not overweight. The hot water in the shower took a long time to arrive and then didn't hang around for too long!

Absolutely loved our stay! The room was amazing, the breakfast was fabulous. They have 2 bikes you can use to stroll downtown! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests. We will definitely be back highly recommend

We love staying here!
Wonderful stay once again! We stayed with our 14 month old son. The crib was set up and ready to use before we even got there. Everything was extremely comfortable and made our stay phenomenal. Breakfast delicious, bed super comfy, and enough space for the whole family without feeling cramped. Definitely coming back.

Everything was really nice. The front desk person as well as the ladies that brought our breakfast were all wonderful. Front desk lady was very helpful when checking in. We were bringing my niece down to move into the dorms at Cal Poly, needless to say she had a ton of stuff! My truck has a cover, but we were hoping not to have to unload everything into the room. She gave us a reserved cone to use while we ran to Target for last minute stuff to make sure we still had a space close to our room and we wouldnt have to worry. She said they've never had a problem, but wanted us to feel secure. Easily fit 3 adults and a toddler in our 2 queen room, very spacious interior. Nice clean and having a fridge was a plus!

Nice start of our fall without crowds
We liked the spacious clean room, the wood floors, the comfortable bed. The coffee area and small fridge very convenient. I liked the breakfast items and brought to our door! The out door chairs were nice when we met up with family staying on the area. They wished they had stayed at our hotel. Love walking around Morro Bay! Getting a fall weekday rate was helpful since we can’t resist the restaurants here. We will be back.

A cozy stay!
We had a very nice stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was the best! The rooms are small and a little out of date, but it makes for a cozy evening. Beds are comfy and the fireplace heats the room nicely. We'll definitely be back!
