Great location. Could walk to most attractions. Ride share was convenient if walking was too far. Staff was always helpful. Did not like the $25/day fee.

Only 1 staff member at check in counter. Otherwise hotel is nice and clean. Suite is spacious. Heater is a bit too loud when it turned on in the middle of the night. It woke me up. Complimentary cook to order breakfast is good though the orange juice was bit light. Walk few minutes to Seaport village and USS Midway.

Wonderful hotel close proximity to the waterfront. Breakfast was great. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Interior lobby/atrium was cool, kids loved the glass elevators. Suite had plenty of room for our family and a separate lounge area from the sleeping area, which is very nice.

Hello, I sincerely apologize for any issues that occurred during your stay - is there anything in particular that you can expand on in order to improve on our end?
The property, the room and the front desk staff were amazing - and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The area that could use improvement is the restaurant staff. We went in when there were very few customers, and it still took about 10 minutes for someone to come take our order. Then, a grilled cheese and French fries took almost 30 minutes to get!

The room was nice, spacious and comfortable. It would have been nice to have better options to connect a streaming stick to the TVs as the provided cable was kind of pointless. The breakfast was good, above average. However the $60 price for valet was kind of outrageous as well as the additional $25 per night fee tacked on as the hotel was already a bit pricey for what it was. So although I had a nice stay and the location was great I am not sure the value for the money was all that great.

I’ve stayed at ES SD many times. The location is the best. Love breakfast and Happy Hour. So much to do in see in the surrounding area. Views from the bay view room are stunning.
Staff is excellent.
Iniego (celebrated his 32 anniversary while we were there) Donna and Mike, all in breakfast dining were exceptionally helpful.

On first look, hotel was great, but little things started to really add up. There were two TVs in our suite, both had different stations, and neither had “guides” so we had to browse one channel at a time. Our sink randomly backed up one day and filled our sink with a gritty dirt. Room service was $25 for a single dessert item and both times, the dessert was bad. We were bothered every time we walked through the lobby to join their membership program. It was just a really irritating stay and it could easily all be fixed with a little more attention to detail.

Loved staying here, close to the zoo, seaworld, USS Midway, quite a few dining options. Free breakfast, free nightly happy hour, hard to beat. Only negative is the $65/day valet parking as there is no other parking options. I will definitely stay here again!

Excellent! The room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable and staff was VERY accommodating and hospitable! The valet fee per day was completely worth it!!! Definitely would stay again!

This is my 5th time staying here ! It’s not a cheap hotel by any means but you get what you pay for. The staff are excellent and friendly. The indoor pool is a huge hit for my 3 year old. She’s been swimming in that pool since 1 years old. The happy hour and morning breakfast are so awesome !! The best part is how huge the rooms are. Especially with kids it’s nice to have the living room and big bedroom. The balcony is a nice refreshing thing to have as well. Fridge and microwave are so clutch for leftovers and warming milk.

This hotel is perfect for families! The location is great, the room size was perfect. My kids enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. It was a great experience.

The entry door lock to the room was broken
Sofa bed sheets had way too many stains on them.
Two small garbage bins in the room. It took staff two days to pick up our garbage. The balcony sliding was extremely hard to open and close. Was charged a Resort Fee...even though this hotel isnt a resort... Some staff during breakfast were not friendly and one gentleman was very rude to my daughter when she simply asked if the cups had lids. This is the second Hilton I've stayed at in San Diego, and this will be the last. Your thinking your getting quality because of the name and your not.

So there’s a couple of things first and foremost I asked for early check-in, and was told I would be accommodated as so I originally ordered a oversize king size bed with balcony and sweet non-pet friendly however the accommodation was a queen size no balcony and the room was pet friendly so that lets me know there was animals in this room previously I originally went to the lobby and nobody was there to discuss this with on top of that I was not informed about this mandatory $25 fee that would have to be spent at the steakhouse next-door or the souvenir shop inside the hotel a little caught off guard but again one of those things that I’m just gonna let go on top of that it was a $65 charge for valet parking. Here’s the kicker there is no other option to park so upon spending roughly $450 I get there and get hit with an additional 90 something dollars again I was just trying to enjoy my trip, so I wasn’t trying to complain. The final straw was the scratch on the side of the car that came from the valet mentioned it to the valet. They said it was there before, and I know how the story place didn’t escalate. It didn’t mind it fortunately, a cousin of mine owns a body shop and the scratches weren’t so deep to wear a quick buff wouldn’t fix it. I will never stay at this specific hotel again, but I definitely love the embassy. I’ve stayed at multiple locations all the way from San Jose to Santa Maria to San Luis Obispo. I could go on and on this San Diego location was horrible

Great for families with kids indoor pool , free breakfast and snacks and drinks with no alcohol all day. Rooms are clean and very comfortable with everything you need. Love it
We would stay here again! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only issue was the TV in the bedroom was not working. We discovered it late at night (it did NOT hamper our stay). We will let housekeeping know when we check out this morning.
The location is perfect- easy walk to the trolley, Seaport Village, the Midway. I highly recommend this property!
