I appreciated three things about the hotel: the partial view of the bay, how comfortable the bed was and the friendliness of people who worked at the front desk. Plus it was two blocks away from my son’s apartment, which was very handy.
What I don’t understand is the “excellent” rating given by other travelers.
The entire hotel is in desperate need of a thorough remodel.
In these days of everyone having multiple devices needing plugs, it’s inexcusable for a room to have only two working plugs, one of them being accessible only by crawling under a table. God forbid you wanted to charge your iPad and phone while drying your hair.
The two chairs were heavy and uncomfortable metal with plastic seats. The furniture, circa the 1950s, was large and clunky.
The rooms were supposed to be cleaned every 3 days, but I still had to ask twice for it to be done.
Overall a miserable experience that I won’t repeat.
