Overall a good stay for one night. The suite next to us set off the fire alarm at 6:30am on a Sunday morning. Thankfully we didn’t need to evacuate. Breakfast was good and the room was clean. My only complaint is that we were in 201 next to the stairs so after the fire alarm went off there was several people who went up and down checking on the situation and the stairwell door slams loudly every single time!
Older hotel, staff was very accommodating. Most staying drove a diesel pick-up and started them warming up about 4 AM. Breakfast was nice, clean and what you expect. We had a very late check in, called ahead and she greeted us like she knew us and had everything ready, which was nice. As it was 2AM. Close to all services, shopping, gas, restaurants.
El desayuno incluido es muy completo. Las camas muy cómodas y las habitaciones muy amplias. La gente muy amable. No hay mucho alrededor pero el parque estatal está a 10 minutos en auto y hay tiendas y restaurantes a corta distancia en auto.
Breakfast was good, and service staff too. The only think was the bed sofa the mates was unclean, with few spot of stain, we didn't have extra sheet in the room at the moment we went to the main desk for more. Other than that overall they stay was ok.
I've been staying at this hotel for over 10 yrs and have never had a problem with bringing my pets. upon arrival i was informed their pet policy changed July 1st and my family was unable to stay. we had 3 other family members that had rooms at the hotel and they were able to stay because they didn't have pets but stated the facilities had gone down hill. rooms were dirty, and pool was closed, they wouldn't even allow them to just sit outside by the pool. Needless to say after 10years of loyalty we will no longer used this hotel ever again. And they only gave us a refund for 1 night instead of 2
Closet smelled like wet carpet or urine. Top floor near the end of the hall had a toilet overflow so the hallway smelled the whole visit. Breakfasts were good and evening cookies were nice. Staff super friendly.
The rooms are very spacious, with enough space for all 5 of my family members. Big breakfast and super clean. I have been told they will be starting a remodel in the next few months. Will be staying again.
The pool area does need some work.
On the hotel website and hotels.com website said pet friendly. When I got to the hotel to register they didn’t give me a room cause we traveled with our chihuahua. I pre paid the room and still waiting for a refund for two rooms at this location. It was a policy they made on July 1st and didn’t make the changes to the consumer on websites.
The staff at the front desk was extremely rude during check in and check out. The housekeepers were friendly but made it known how severely over worked they are right now. They have added new policies regarding pets which were not communicated when the room was booked or during a previous stay at the hotel. I was so disappointed in my stay and ended up paying almost 500 dollars for a 1.5 night stay, that is utterly absurd and not worth the treatment or facilities experienced. I will never book with this hotel ever again.
I wish I would have gotten names to recommend these ladies. The lady that checked us in and helped us all the first night was amazing! She made our checkin / stay amazing. The ladies the next morning were not very friendly, and were trying to rush us out of the hotel. They also had an attitude about towels for the pool.
The hotel was nice abs very comfortable. Would be a 5 star stay if it hadn’t been for the ladies the next morning.
The staff and facilities were good. Other San Angelo hotels we have used in the were as good or more convenient—location, restaurants, etc.—and much cheaper.
Stayed with family and spent most of our time at the pool. Maintenance staff was great as well as housekeeping. Breakfast was great. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is also pet friendly. Staff was great. Loved it.
