Recommend to anyone and everyone.
Spent two nights in the twin room over the New Year period. Lovely staff, always willing to help and an asset to the hotel. The room was cozy and clean with a beautiful view of the mountain horizon. The location was within easy access of the city center, just one 15 minute bus away.

Astoria Hotel, Saltzburg
Enjoy my at Astoria Hotel, location is good with bus stop opposite hotel. Breakfast was nice with hot and cold buffet.

Die Heizung war viel zu heiß eingestellt, weshalb wir im Winter das Fenster die Nacht über öffnen mussten. Das verbraucht natürlich Energie und der Lärm der straße ist zu hören. Der Müll wurde nicht geleert (wir hatten ein Kleinkind dabei, das windeln trägt). Der Fön ging nach wenigen Sekunden wegen Überhitzung aus und man musste lange warten, bis er wieder funktioniert. Das Bad war nicht besonders sauber. Parken konnte man nur im Freien, was im Winter Eis Kratzen bedeutet. Die Umgebung ist gut. Man kommt am besten mit dem Bus in die Stadt.

Alles in allem gutes Hotel. In ca. 20min zu Fuß in der Altstadt. Frühstücksbuffett klein aber lecker. Leider waren andere Gäste im Hotel, die sehr laut waren und sich jede Nacht im Treppenhaus lautstark unterhalten haben.

Spontaner Städtetrip
Spontaner Städte trip in sehr funktionalem Hotel. Gut vorbereitet bei der Ankunft, gut gelegen mit kurzen Wegen zur Stadtmitte und gutem und preiswertem ÖV. Zimmer sehr zweckmässig aber gut. Matratzen sind nicht die besten, was ein gutes Frühstücks Buffet wettmacht. Hotel personal war sehr freundlich und stets bemüht die beste Lösung zu finden. Wir würden wieder kommen, denn Salzburg ist immer eine Reise wert.

Très mauvaise expérience : literie horrible
arrivée vers 20H00, plus personne à l'accueil. literie très mauvaise avec matelats mous ; reveil en fanfare à 8H30 avec des marteaux piqueurs dans la chambre d'en face. bruits insupportable et inadmissible alors que l'hotel est censé être en parti vide à 11H00 du jamais vu ! hotel est vieux, la peinture du plafond est entrain de se désintégrer. PDF correct

The hotel is on the number 1 and number 10 bus routes which go to the train station and hanger 7 attraction. Lovely cafe and restaurant just down te street with quick access to Salzburg centre with interesting things to do and sights to see

The rooms were very clean. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was phenomenal. A great choice of all different foods. Check in and check out. Was very easy. Very close to the airport. Definitely stay here again and visiting Austria.

nice place to stay, clean, good bed, good internet. staff seems to be absent at night so make sure you have your key if you go out. Bus to the train station is m3 right across the street.

Hotel was clean and staff were helpful. There was no air conditioning in our room, which was quite stuffy. They serve a nice buffet breakfast but I did not know the cost until we checked out, when they automatically charged it to our bill even though one member of our party had not eaten breakfast the first day we were there. They took that off the bill but they should have asked before assuming.

Our room was TINY, which might have been fine, but it faced the street, which is where people stand to smoke, which meant we couldn't leave our window open to let in air (and there isn't A/C) because our room would have smelled of smoke the whole time. The little patio or whatever had spider webs everywhere and there was a large spider making a home in the hammock out there. We didn't use that area mostly because of weather but I wouldn't have wanted to because of that anyway. The water in the shower wasn't consistent in temperature. The main issue: We booked this place because it listed laundry facilities and it does NOT have those. I asked the staff and they looked at me like I was a lunatic and then I showed them how it was listed on here and they just shrugged. We wouldn't stay here again.
