It very special location on the Santa Maria In Tresteverre. One of the most popular and interesting piazzas in all of Rome. Within walking distance of an incredible amount of sites of interest.

Bemötandet var väldigt trevligt, men personalen var bara där vid incheckning och vid städning. Borde stå nåt om trappan upp till rummet oxå då den var väldigt brant o kanske svår för en del att gå i. Rummet var fint o ligger centralt, men mycket oväsen. Sov knappt en blund på nätterna pga av gap, skrik, soptömning o vägarbete. Hade en kyrkklocka rakt utanför fönstret som slog en gång i kvarten dygnet runt. Kommer inte boka detta boende igen.

En plena zona de bares por lo que no se puede dormir y se escucha todo el tiempo el ruido de los establecimientos y las personas que están en ellos o pasando por la calle... la zona es muy bonita y el hotel también pero el no poder llegar a descansar resulta terrible.

3 things to note 1) there is a ticking clock in the sitting room ( second bedroom if you are using the sofa bed ) which cannot be turned off 2) there is a quarter chiming clock tower opposite which keeps going for most of one's normal sleeping hours 3) the stairs are difficult to negotiate with large heavy cases, especially if in the upmost apartment. In spite of all these niggles, we really enjoyed our time here & would probably book again.

Best area & modern room
Located in the heart of Trastevere , best for traveler who wants to experience the vibe of drinking in Roma ! Easy to find and the room was real lovely ! Waking up to sunlight in beautiful Trastevere could never be better ! Shower was great , room was clean ! Everything is great besides the stairs ! We can easily leave luggage after check out and get back anytime after that Cos we could enter the door with a code ! Overall a perfect room and would stay again !

Underbart boende mitt i det italienska hjärtat!!
Ett mkt trevligt alternativ till boende på bästa läget i Trastevere. Lite svårt att hitta då det inte har en vanlig Hotell entré. Inget frukost hotell, men där fanns de bästa frukostarna på flertalet av alla de caféer som fanns på kullerstensgatan nedanför. Rummet var i minsta laget men allt fanns och där var rent och fräscht. Nära till det bästa i detta område. Har man inte ont av folkstimmet utanför fönstret på kvällen och kyrkklockorna som ringde varje kvart på morgonen och framåt så är detta ett absolut måste för den som vill känna det bästa och mest genuina av vad denna fantastiska stad kan erbjuda!!!

Charming room, unfortunate house guest
This guesthouse is charming, comfortable and centrally located. The sleeping room was adorable and the common areas were accommodating. The owner offered free coffee and water. The wifi was quick. Only two negative things. 1) The stairwell was very steep and dangerously dark. 2) Our overnight was on a weekend which made for a lot of noise from the square below. This normally wouldn't be a problem as I would typically be one of those on the street gathering. However, we had an early morning flight and a bit of sleep would have been nice. To make matters worse, the guest house had a total of 3 rooms and one of the couples decided to return at 2:30 a.m. with friends they presumably had just met. They used the common area (right off our room) to continue the party. Obviously, I didn't get any sleep at this location. Unfortunately, the owner has no control over the other guest's behavior. However, all and all, I would give this location another shot and still book here again (keeping my fingers crossed that we would have more respectfully houseguests).

Never
Unfortunately the location of this Inn is in the noisiest part of Trastevere. If You don't want to get any sleep, it is then the perfect place for you. It sits on top of a very noisy restaurant area that people stay at until 4AM. The shared area too can be noisy depending on the other tenants. Walking up the stairs too as you enter is challenging too if your bag weighs more than 10 pounds. The Inn Keeper too , though we never had the pleasure of meeting, was very rude in her email responses ( when she finally did respond) and not understanding. We stayed 1 night of our 4 night stay and left to another hotel in Prati, which I highly recommend that area to stay.

The suites queensize bed was perfect. The couch was terrible to sleep on. Also there was no chance to bath because the bathtub was "closed".

Great location
Been traveling around Europe on our honeymoon, tho so guesthouse was the most beautiful room we had stayed in so far, only problemswe had were it was very hot and that the aircon couldnt keep the room cool at night resulting in being awake until 2am, also no iron was provided and with us traveling a lot of our things needed ironing, apart from that a fab location and a lovely room.

Dona atenciosa, embora nao estivesse nos esperando no local para fazer o check in. Negativo - O Apartamento estava fechado quando chegamos, nao havia quem nos recepcionasse. Aguardamos mais de 01 hora e tivemos que andar pelos restaurantes em busca de wifi para entrar em contato, num dia chuvoso. Sao dois andares de escada estreita até o quarto. As fotos davam a impressao de que o quarto incluía uma sala anexa com sofa. Na verdade, esta é uma área comum do local com outros quartos.

These are very,very bad people managing this hotel
This is a horrible place - avoid at all costs. The AC doesn't work - never went below 80 degrees fahrenheit (27 degrees celsius), we finally had to leave the hotel and book another hotel with air conditioning even though we had already paid for this one. All this was after we contacted the Hotel, Luxury Trastevere, on the way over there on the day of our stay, they said we didn't have reservations. I assumed there was a mistake since I was looking at my confirmation number on the email from Hotels.com or that I had dialed the wrong number. We finally found the address and called the number on the door sign, again they told us we didn't have a reservation. I asked them if they wanted to see my confirmation email regarding our stay from hotels.com and they said no. I insisted that they look at my confirmation email and she asked me to hold. After 5 minutes, she came back and gave us the combination to get to our room. Then they didn't give me my change or a receipt for the room tax. DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL...

Luxury Trastevere er det perfekte sted for både forretning og ferie. Vi brugte det til begge dele. Eneste minus, som til gengæld har trukket noget ned, var en ualmindelig dårlig seng med madras. Hvis man har den mindste smule ryglidelser, skal man ikke lægge sig i denne seng.

Fint litet hotel med bra läge
Vi är ett par i 30-årsåldern, var där i 6 dagar. Fint litet hotell med tre rum, vi hade "mellanrummet". Fint rum, fanns gott om plats. Bra fungerande wi-fi. Sängen var stor men dessvärre lite hård. Vi gillade läget, visserligen mycket turister däromkring men det är det överallt. Gillar man att promenera så är passar det bra. Vatten och Nespresso-kaffe var bara att ta. Det ingår ingen riktig frukost utan man får en liten voucher, så får man gå ner till närliggande ställen och hämta ut en crossiant och kaffe.

Consider the details b
This is not a hotel. You may be okay with that, but you should know it upfront. There is no front desk, and therefore no one to help you most of the time. It's up a two-story narrow staircase. The location is totally open to interpretation. It's loud, but not unreasonably so, especially with the windows closed. It's right in the middle of busy Trastevere, with tourist restaurants, bars and street vendors all around. I felt completely comfortable walking alone there at night but would have preferred an area with more personality. The room itself is nice, though not as elegant as in the pictures. There's enough space, but it's not laid it well so it's hard to get around the bed. The closet is huge for a hotel. The bathroom is nice but oddly does not have a bidet or something to use instead (the only hotel of 9 I visited in Italy that did not). Real a/c that you can control yourself, which is fantastic and not very common. Bonus points for free sparkling and flat water and espresso machine with free pods in the common area; there is also a tea kettle, which must be a change since some of the other reviews. When I left, there was someone working there, as another party had just arrived. I asked her to call me a taxi, but she couldn't locate one. When this did not work, she was completely unhelpful. I know Italy is not the most service-oriented society, but it's always annoying to leave on a bad note.

Great location in the heart of Trastevere. Many wonderful restaurants and cafes, as well as easy access to top attractions in Rome. Easy check-in/check-out and access to the espresso machine was wonderful. Also, AC was very nice after a long summer day. Thanks for everything!

Local energy!
Very nice room and helpful staff. Great music coming in from the streets at night. If you want someplace quiet, this is not it. If you want an experience in a local spot with wonderful restaurants, shops & cafe then you will be happy. Go for the suite on the top with the patio. We had a regular room and for the price it was not worth it. Also, very steep stairs to climb.

Amazing room in the heart of Trastevere.
A great location if you want to be in the hustle and bustle of Roman night life. Full of restaurants, bars, entertainment. Don't go here if you're looking for a quiet get away though if you close your windows, the noise is completely blocked out. Highly recommend this room. Decor is beautiful.

Perfect place on Transtevere
This is the perfect centrally located spot if you really want to feel Rome as,a Roman, rooms is beautiful, A/C and WiFi is perfect, one thing it gets crowded and you might be bother by the sounds of the street, but this was not an issue for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay in Trestevere
Our stay was delightful. We did have difficulty connecting with the owner to gain access to our suite. It took about an hour to finally connect with Sarah. We were not disappointed however with our stay. The view from the terrace and the sounds from the square below added to the ambiance.

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night and it was awesome! Super cute little place! Sabrina was in contact the entire time upon our arrival. When we arrived I was a little confused with the location but we found our way. We arrived and our room was spotless and very clean. The location is a quick taxi ride from everything you want to see when traveling to Rome. In the morning I had a flight and Sabrina called me a taxi and it was there within 5 minutes. I will definitely stay here again if I make it back to Rome one day and would recommend it to anyone.

Great size rooms, good double bed, large size bathroom, nicely decorated room with a number of paintings and prints. Good lobby wear with free Nespresso coffee and juice. Stairs are way to steep.

Fantastiskt boende
Perfekt läge i gammal byggnad i Trastavere. Rummet var helt fantastiskt med en liten takterass. Rent och snyggt och sköna sängar. Väldigt fint mottagande och hjälpsamhet av personalen. Enda minuset är att frukosten, som serveras på ett närliggande cafe, var lite väl fattigt med bara en croissant och en kopp kaffe.

This hotel is a little jewel
We booked BdB Luxury Rooms because of another review we saw on this site. Turns out it is in the absolute heart of Trastevere, right next to Santa Maria Church and the piazza in front of the church. It is a little hard to find the door to BdB as there only a tiny address posted. You have to climb 32 stairs to get to the entrance of BdB, so be prepared. The climb was worth it as there are only 3 beautiful rooms off the little lobby. There is one small luxury room, one medium/large one (our terrific room), and one room that is like a large suite with a balcony (up another flight of stairs)!! Luckily the rooms have the best windows to shut out the happy noises of the piazza and the bars surrounding. This was a great location. We can't say enough about our room which was WOW. The only thing I would change is that with the price we paid, it should have included a FULL breakfast (as hotels with lesser ratings provided), not just a continental breakfast of a roll and juice...that was definitely a disappointment. But the staff were very helpful. They aren't there all the time (because of there being only 3 rooms) so you have to let them know what time you will check in so they can be there. Since we were there during cool weather, I would check and see if they have air conditioning. We highly recommend BdB.
