really safe resort, lots of beach chairs to chose from, and a good balance of shade and sun tanning options if you are trying to manage exposure to the sun. Security keeps people off the resort from approaching you to sell something.

JUST KNOW THAT WI-FI IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE RESTAURANT OR LOBBY. There’s no Wi-Fi in your rooms. The staff was nice but honestly and truly this hotel is run down/ outdated . There were stains on my bed, the bathroom sink was clogged up. I had initially booked for 4 nights due to the price but ended up booking for Catalonia resort. The difference was like day and night. I enjoyed my stay at Catalonia. It’s mostly senior people at the VIK resort and the food was limited and not visually appetizing. Book if this is your first experience with an all inclusive so when you book better you’d appreciate it .

Buenas tardes !!!! Soy Eleane J.Figueroa dueña de la tarjeta de crédito utilizada en la reservación y también fui una de las 5 familias afectada ante la situación detallada más adelante. Por este medio me estoy tratando de contactar con ustedes debido a que la Compañia Expedía sea trato do de comunicarse con ustedes en varias ocasiones y no han podido. La razón por el cual los estamos contactando es por la reservación a nombre de María del. Rosario Cruz Cardona y 2 miembros más de su familia con el número de itinerario 72600957234049 estadía comenzaba el día 19 al 26 de Julio el cual solo se quedó 1 noche debido a que luego de varios cambios de cuarto por falta de aire acondicionado. Era un viaje familiar el cual 4 familias más los acompañaban y les pasó lo mismo que las unidades del aire acondicionado están dañados todos cancelaron. También a la piscina lugar no seguro debido que se le estaban saliendo los pedazos de cemento del fondo. A los demás familiares se le pusieron rembolsar el dinero pero al de María del Rosario Cruz Cardona aún no se a devuelto debido a que fue por Expedía y ellos tiene que contactarse con ustedes para la aprobación. El gerente fue muy amable y entendió la situación y hizo las devoluciones correspondientes. Esperó pronta contestación de ustedes. Las personas a cargo de nuestro caso en el hotel fueron Adrián Montoya y Rubén Balbuena y Calos Moni. Cordialmente, Eleane J. Figueroa Cruz

Muchos huéspedes nos quejamos del aire acondicionado en la habitación en mi caso solo tuve Dos días funcionando Pregunte por alguna compensación y md dijeron k no era posible Ya yo había perdido mi primer día de hotel por cancelación del vuelo por parte de jet blue cosa ajena al hotel pero solicité servicios de caja de seguridad y al menos me la pudieron dar free como compensación al menos de la falta de aire acondicionado La llave la use 5 días y me cobraron 6 días Tenían poca disponibilidad de cambiar dólares en la recepción aún yo buscaba csmbio para dejarles propinas😱

The property was perfect for our vacation. It was small enough to feel intimate and safe, the pool and beach area were nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Dining options for a vegetarian were limited to the buffet and the snack bar, which were sufficient but a little boring after 5 days. There wasn’t a locking safe in the hotel room and it was difficult to lock the patio doors. But we didn’t encounter any safety concerns.

I liked the staff , but my bed gave me this bad break out on my shoulders and I discovered that the bed was just being re-made but the sheets weren’t being changed which made me break out on terrible on my arms it’s looks like I have walked into poison ivy or sumac . The food and drinks basically all closed at 10pm and then the cost of leaving the resort was expensive that we had to cancel trips and books rides with Uber. The food was decent the first day but there was little to no variety. The same thing everyday it almost became nasty .

The Hotel is crying out for a capital investment at all levels, the internet does not work, the gastronomy service is lousy, only a little better on Saturdays and Sundays, the rest of the week there is more hunger than in Africa, the night options are boring. Two Stars category, no more.

Bonjour, Nous nous sommes rendus dans cet hotel avec mes enfants 16 et 12 du 4 au 18 AOUT 2021 L hotel etait semble t il reouvert depuis peu..3 semaines Les animations étaient quasi inexistantes au départ puis se sont améliorés au fur et a mesure du sejour une seule piscine sur les 2 étaient en service Tous les restaurants n etaient pas ouverts Par contre, rien à dire sur la propreté, sur les repas, la gentillesse du personnel dominicain Le principal défaut est la plage: en fait il y a une algue aquatique polluante qui deferle en permanence sur les plages...malgré les efforts du personnel qui les enleve, il en revient en permanence par la mer..;l odeur est désagréable et surtout on se baigne dans une eaux troubles avec un plage remplie d algue...ca enleve le coté pardisiaque

This hotel was depressing, service was bad, food was limited and horrible, it was not clean, do not think of coming back here. I am very easy going and flexible, I don’t expect at all, but this hotel need help all around, some of their staff were very impatient and not very helpful. There was a few good staff, but it this was not a nice experience.

****Note, this place looks like it is getting back on its feet after covid. It looks like it's trying to recover. Cons -Only two restaurants - No buffet - Maybe after covid it'll get open -No entertainment -No one at the main desk when you arrive you have to walk into the heart of hotel to get to the reception (I believe they are working on this) -Language barrier - you should speak basic Spanish -Food was a hit or miss -Only a limited choice of deserts offerred which is fruit, ice cream, flan, bananna pudding, chocolate fondant and tiramisu (all inclusive??? No cake, pie or muffins offered) -Only one station to get coffee which is the main bar -Gargantuan amount of Seaweed on the beach - but it was the season for it -Major maintenance needed -No sports bar, staff entertainment or activities. - only two pools - overgrown landscaping - No posting of designated hours for meals times - Poor communication such as no specific on where to get your covid test done, that you need to pay for it the day of -NO gift shop on premise-so you can't get toothpaste or sunscreen. - No Spa or Gym - Nothing is near by - No town, mall ect. PROS -Get upgraded!! To the Cayena members only-included sodas in fridge, digital safe, smart tv(netflix) & 3 balconies/sitting areas(real beach view) they might try to place you in building 2,3,4, where you can see the beach from a distance. - white sands-soft - Wifi is excellent - AC is excellent Best employees was 1. Buenas tardes . Estuvimos por dos noches , tres Dias en el Hotel . El problema que se presenta , es la falta de personal. El área del restaurante, en el servicio , es muy lento por porque son pocos . Los trabajadores se esfuerzan, pero no dan abasto .Un desayuno, nos llevó, hora y media ! Las raciones son generosas de la comida y sabrosas, en la mayoría de los casos . Sugiero normar , con menús, el desayuno, por ejemplo: desayuno continental , americano y así sucesivamente..
