Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable. The bathroom was also big and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was very good. The only negative thing I would say is that we didn't know you needed to pay extra to use the pool 20 Euro per person. They should advertise this more prominently.

The property was lovely. The staff was exceptional. They allowed us to check in a bit early and stored our luggage until we got back from lunch. Then they personally escorted us to our room . We did not partake of the breakfast. It cost 30 euro per person and we thought that was a bit pricey for the amount of food that we eat for breakfast. We walked two blocks and had a great breakfast for about 15 euro instead of 60 euro. We stayed in the newer part of the hotel in the back. Very modern rooms, white, bright but small.

Avoid, worst hotel experience
Most likely worst hotel experience. During check in the reception forgot to scan the passport and we had to deliver 2 times in the middle of the night passport. The guy had extremely bad attitude. I asked what is his name and he refused to tell me. After I asked is that the service that should be in 5 star hotel. He blaned that they were understaffed and no apology. Room was in different building and the alley seriously looked very poor. Other cons: No free water, Room was dirty (not like it bothered but worth a mention as the overal experience was bad) Alot of hidden fees, if the called a taxi they charges 35€ by just calling. Friend ordered double portion lasagne from room service total 66€ from normal big portion. The 5 star is a joke, avoid

Booked 3 suites for 3 nights TERRIBLE TERRIBLE, This hotel use to be my favourite location wise and service. This stay was basically the front desk staff trying to make everything hectic and unpleasant. Housekeeping was filthy, leaving cleaning items in the room , not changing the bedding which had a tanning oil stain. Towels smelt like it was washed in a kitchen. Unbleached, with spots on the corners. In addition they had us pay for parking for 6 hours although the duty manager informed me a day earlier that he won't charge as I am a regular resident. At check out I was served with a rude, disrespectful bigot that made it her duty to override the managers decision as she wanted to charge me initially until the duty manager waived it. As he wasnt available on check out she kept ranting and raised her voice infront of the people checking in which shocked the prospective residents and said " you signed a contract at check in , if you dont know how to read that your problem, you can afford it so pay it. Which Is true i did sign out of good faith as this wasn't my first time staying at this hotel. All in all , this hotel needs to train those new staff members the real meaning of hospitality. Continuing this manner will definitely ruin the hotels reputation as word of mouth and reviews are what intices booking a particular hotel, and myself and all my friends and family will surely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is walkable from the train station The staff was very friendly The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in walkable to many restaurants and to the ferry landing. The morning buffet was very good with plenty of options. I would stay here again

Très très bon hôtel , les chambres dans le bâtiment côté spa sont nickel et bien équipé avec une grande terrasse et des transats , la salle de bains au top , et les réceptionnistes parfaites et très accueillantes . Je recommande surtout que l’hôtel et très bien placer en centre ville donc pas besoin de la voiture pour se déplacer.

Chic and modern hotel
Nice hotel. Very modern, clean and comfortable. Staff are very nice. I had an attic room, which had a big soaker bath tub, but no shower (this was the only draw back in my view). I would stay here again, though maybe in a room with a shower

Beautiful hotel with problematic spa hours
We stayed in the Spa Wing, so i only speak for that portion of the hotel. Room was large, spacious, well decorated. Great private patio. Beautiful hallways, lobby, outdoor area. Service was perfect. Insisted on carrying luggage, parking the car. Excellent drink service in the gorgeous lobby. Front desk was super courteous and hard working. Great people work here. They are doing something right! Just a beautiful place and perfect location a block front the harbor and the basilica. I would stay here before going anywhere else in Rapallo or Portofino. Critiques: lovely spa. They charge 25 Euros per person. Steep but their rooms are inexpensive as a result. So pay for what you use. I respect that. My real critique is the spa, which includes the gym, is only open from 12-8pm. This.may be because of staff shortages. I don't know. But it is unacceptable. Subtract a star for that.

Santa Margarita - enkelt overnatning
Hotel er fint rent og pænt og stor service grad hos personale. Måske lidt overpriced da ordinært værelse med alm trafik støj med åben vindue - nødvendigt da air con støjer - ikke vand sigt. Udendørs lounge dejlig men stadig med trafik støj.

Hvis du trenger aircondition er ikke dette hotellet for deg. De forstår ikke hvordan aircondition fungerer. Servicen er utmerket. Spesielt de som jobber døgnet rundt i utebaren og frokosten. Forsøkte også å ringe for å reservere parkering i forkant. Men de la på, da de sikkert hadde for mye å gjøre. Brukte 3 timer på å finne plass.

Marvelous time
Marvelous experience, we came for couple days and it was wonderful . The staff is very helpful, polite and professional. The hotel itself is very modern and the installations are clean and we'll look after. We requested to upgrade our room to one with terrace and they helped us with it. The location is perfect to walk everywhere. Will definitely recommend and repeat.

Aucune prestation inclue, décevant...
Très bel hôtel, très confortable, petit déjeuner impeccable. Il est toutefois choquant de demander 25 € de parking pour une nuit alors qu’on a choisi cet hôtel en raison de ce service indiqué dans les équipements, donc comme faisant partie du prix de la chambre. À plus de 300 € la nuit il me semble par ailleurs inconcevable de faire payer la petite bouteille d’eau en chambre 4 € de même que l’accès à la piscine 20 €... le descriptif mentionnant ces équipements ne fait pas état du fait qu’ils ne sont pas inclus. Sans quoi nous aurions évidemment choisi un autre établissement... cela donne une image vraiment négative et très décevante, pas au niveau du tarif payé pour une nuit : finalement aucune plus-value, en dehors d’un design irréprochable, par rapport à une chambre à 100 € dans un autre établissement.

Hotel luxueux en centre ville
Nous avons passe 3 nuits dans cet hotel qui est tres bien situe a santa margherita. Attention a reserver le parking a l avance car pendant la haute saison les places sont peu nombreuses en ville. Le confort est agreable par contre la climatisation etait peu efficace dans les 2 chambres reservees. Le service est parfait et le reception s est tres bien occupee de nous pour reserver les restaurants le soir

Newly renovated hotel in a good location
Recently renovated and located just a block from the water, this was a nice stop for our visit to Santa Margherita. The staff was vey pleasant and helpful and offered great guidance for our visit. We were located in the new Spa rooms which are clean and quiet (they are off the back). Hotel is well situated for getting to the restaurants and waterfront. Use of the Spa/pool is a substantial additional charge (per person/not room) so be sure to figure that into your rate.

It’s new nice and clean downside was we were in the attic and there is no shower but tub... however, I hit my head up when I stood up coz I forget that I was in an attic otherwise everything else was great

The hotel looked and felt brand new. The location was a little “urban” surrounded by properties and overlooked, however it was only a 2 minute walk to the sea front The hotel staff were very helpful and extremely friendly We had a massage at the spa and it rated as one of the best we had had
