red planet a basic small room just a bed , OK for a few 1 to 2 days. Clean and modern bathroom. Lift lighting flat TV airco all worked well. Near many shops, bars, retaurants and 5 minutes walk to the beach.

Find different place many hotels same price around
Is ok for the price . Forget about seeing any post on walls or doors telling you restaurant is open or the times . Don’t ask the front desk for anything they don’t know much . I asked if I could use a pair of sizers to use in my room for 20 minutes was told no can’t . I was very disappointed . So I went to 7/11 and buy some . Have to give them away. Can’t take n airplane .😮. Staff at first not clean room eveyvday onless you tell front desk . No shampoo in shower . Cleaning staff are over worked . Not many oh and no water in your room allso . They have free water but you need to have your own bottle . But if not you can buy glass bottle of water for 15 baht . So thru force you to buy as I see it and no coffee cups either . I’ve stayed at many red planet hotels never I see no coffee cups or fee water for guests .

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfy. They even helped recover my lost items after I checked out. Would stay again! Highly recommend!

This is my seventh time staying at Red Planet. I always have a pleasent experience staying here. During my last stay, hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff arranged taxi service for me to go back to the airport. They have taxi service on site. Price is very reasonable and cheaper than most. This hotel is very close to the beach, mall, nightlife and restuarants. I never had a problem with this hotel. Room is modern and clean, very good aircon and shower. I will come back again.

Regarding to your lost item that you had mentioned, we are still looking into this matter to see how this problem occurred. As per investigate with Housekeeping team who was check-out your room on 27th December 2018. They have never seen the ring in the bathroom. We would like to acknowledge that we have very strict control of room checking process. In case the housekeeper found the valuable things was left in the room after guest checked out, they will make a call to Front desk staff to inform guest or record in lost&found book if the guest already left out the hotel. We can ensure that all the security protocols established by the chain are strictly followed. Overall highly recommend. Only negatives were... (and maybe I'm at fault?) Was that I emailed through to see if I could checkin early (2-3hours) and their response in short was. "sure, no guarantees but if there's a room available at that time then that's fine" Anyway i ended up paying an extra 500baht (basically an extra full day) when I asked reception upon my arrival. Secondly my hotel wasn't cleaned for 2 of the days so I tested leaving the "yes clean my room sign" on the door knob and it was fine everyday after that.. I assumed they would have cleaned it regardless unless there was the do not disturb sign showing. Other than that the hotel was good value.
