Dear Corinna,Thank you for choosing to stay with us. I can certainly understand your disappointment with the closure of our Outdoor Pool & Hot tub whilst you stayed with us. The unfortunate cold snap that we experienced which was very unusual for our region caused the pool deck heating elements to malfunction. With the cold, we also received heavy snowfall, and this only added to the unsafe conditions. Therefore, we made the difficult decision to close the pool area until the cold snap passed, and the time needed to repair the heating elements. I'm happy to say that after a few days we were able to get everything up and running again, and pool decking heating elements was once again doing its job.I do hope we have the chance to host you at our property again for you to be able to utilize the pool area with moderate winter conditions that we are used to seeing.Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback. I hope we'll have the opportunity to welcome you back again to the Fairfield Kelowna and provide you with the experience you expected during this most recent stay.Warmest Regards,
