Get away weekend break to enjoy.
A very pleasant time, we were made to feel at home and most welcome,the room was lovely even though it was at the top of the property and a bit of a climb after a long day walking. Great Breakfast and easy access to the town center meant we had a relaxing break.

Excellent accommodation
Booked this trip as a bit of a last minute short holiday, price was very competitive and the reviews were all good. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and throughout our stay, car parking wasn`t a problem, we got our car a few doors away and it only cost £1.60 for four days !

Good location
Comfortable and clean b&b. Friendly hosts. Excellent breakfast. Decor a little dated but a minor fault. The bed was comfortable. Perfect for a short break. Good value.

Lovely guesthouse,convenient to all facilities.
We had great stay at Pathways.Starting with breakfast which was outstanding,choices were really good,room was small but very comfortable.Bed was really comfortable and a good nights sleep was had all 4 nights.All in all outstanding value for money.Will be coming back next year.

Spot on!
Excellent stay. Great service on arrival, cheerful and upbeat greeting at breakfast with brilliant food and fresh coffee, and a lovely clean and well equipped room. A great stay and will definitely return.

Everything we hoped for. Close enough to main centre for shopping and leisure. Spotlessly clean and really friendly owners. Good breakfast choice to start the day well.

Lovely hotel
Was so clean and friendly. Met phil the proprietor on the first day and then Gillian on the second day. Food was lovely. Would really recommend.

Nice place not far from sea front or Whitby town
Lovely place within walking distance of sea front and Whitby town The only problem my partner had was the mattress on our bed was hard The breakfast was lovely and Phil and Gillian made us feel welcome thank you for a lovely stay

Good B&B near to centre of Whitby
We had a 3 night break at the Pathways and thought the breakfast was excellent with a choice of fresh fruit and yoghurt followed by a full English cooked breakfast. The B&B is in a great location for enjoying Whitby and surrounding area. The staff are warm and friendly with Phil even carrying some of our luggage to the attic room (4or 5 flights of stairs!)

Location Location Location
A lovely old terraced house B&B. We had a small but more than adequate room, with on suit shower and toilet. The bed was firmer than we like but they are catering for a lot of visitors (cant please them all). Phil gives a lovely warm welcome and even gives a hand getting luggage to the room. Breakfast was first class with a good choice, regardless of other reviews Phil`s wife is friendly but very business like, which some people misinterpret. The real icing on the cake is its location, turn left at the end of the street and 5 minute walk you can be at the whale bone arch or the pavilion. Turn right and 5 minutes will take you to the town centre/harbour. Of course if like us you want to investigate the shops on route that 5 minutes can turn into 20, your choice. Parking can be hit and miss but if you can get a space in the right zone Phil can supply you with a temporary parking permit for a minimum donation of 50 p to the lifeboat fund. I would have no hesitation in staying at the Pathway again and recommending to friends and family.

Great place for a few nights
Excellent B&B in Whitby very clean well decorated and friendly owners. Good size room with a modern four poster. Great breakfast. Whitby is a quaint old town with a lot of history well worth a few nights stay. be aware though itis built in a valley and nearly all the places to stay are on the top very steep climbs. Views are brilliant beaches are clean, best fish and xhips going.As you can imagine Dracula plays a big part in Whitby as does Captain cook. we were there over halloween and the Goths made the place amazing all dressed up and painted, shops seriously decked outwith witches and vampires. Great stay great place

Stay here!
I picked this place based on its reviews and wasn't disappointed. Made to feel very welcome by Phil. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. Good range of toiletries on the ensuite. The room was quiet at night and the Breakfasts are great, using quality locally sourced produce. I was sad to leave after only two nights!

Honeymoon break
It was a short honeymoon break for My wife and I, the accommodation was clean and well presented, the breakfasts were ample and enjoyable, weather it was cearial or full English or combination of both,we where well catered for. The hosts where amiable and approachable. Over all, it was a good week.

Great value guesthouse
It was excellent from start to finish. Friendly, efficient, very good breakfasts.The room was comfortable but a bit of a climb up the stairs when tired after a long day.

Great Hospitality in Whitby
The hosts of this B&B were extremely welcoming and very helpful. They went out of their way to help us find out some information we needed. Also the food was excellent.

Close to town facilities.
As a keen photographer I rate it very highly as there is a huge amount to offer. The abbey , pier, good food and many villages are just an easy bus or train ride away. Only thing is that it there are lots of steep hills if mobility is a problem. There is something for everyone.

Best breakfast we've ever had.
We stayed here for our honeymoon in the attic suite which was wonderful. Phil and Gill were excellent hosts serving one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. We will definitely be staying here again.

Would recommend this guest house
Stayed with my teenage son in the family room which had a separate sleeping area with its own tv - couldn't be better! Centrally located for all that Whitby has to offer. Only downside for me was that I was asked in advance what I wanted for breakfast the next day and the "window" was rather short - 8.15- 9am! However the food itself was really good!

Whitby Gem!
Great stay in Whitby and we were in a perfect location for town, pubs and restaurants, as well as the beach. Great welcome and friendly hosts.

Amazing stau
It was perfect in every way thanks to the amazing people who own the B&B. The breakfast in the morning has got to be the best I have ever had at a hotel or B&B. You really can't go wrong with this place its grate. Me and my girlfriend will definitely be stopping again.

excellent b and b
Very friendly b and b. Good location with parking which is a real plus in whitby. The window for breakfast (8.15 to 9) was perhaps a little tight but the breakfast itself was excellent.
