My stay at Hilton Garden Inn New York/Central Park was overshadowed by a distressing encounter with a hotel staff member. Late one night, I requested help with my coffee maker. The staff member who assisted made inappropriate comments and an unwelcome proposition after fixing the issue, asking if I slept alone followed by a suggestion to sleep together. This left me feeling extremely unsafe.
I reported the incident immediately to room service and again to the hotel manager upon checkout, who promised a follow-up that never came. This experience has deeply shaken my trust in the safety and professionalism expected at such a reputable hotel. The lack of response and action from the hotel management is disappointing and concerning.
