This was a great hotel to stay at while in the French Quarter of New Orleans, LA. It's a couple blocks from Bourbon Street. So, it's a bit quieter. However, it's on an inlet road to the revelry. So, you will still have horns blowing, loud music, etc. Advise earplugs to sleep, if you're going to...
Loved the comfy bed and nice room. We arrived early as our flight had came in early and they graciously had a room ready for us. The staff was greatly helpful and kind with everything.
Couple drawbacks: The TV didn't work, because the wifi/internet was very low. They offered to move us to another room, but we opted not to as we were 2 days in and "moved in" for our trip.
The refrigerator in our room was a bit noisy too, but nothing we couldn't ignore as white noise for the most part.
There was also a propane-like smell walking into the lobby, but this may have been for other reasons. Once you were past the lobby, the smell was gone.
Overall, a very nice hotel, but older and perhaps needs some updates/upgrades? For the price though, can't beat it and the staff were wonderful! Would stay there again, even after the minor issues we had.
