The staff is very friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was ok, but was surprised they did not have toast bread on my second breakfast anymore. The hotel room is nicely decorated and lovely. Unfortunately and a bad surprise for me, the room was not soundproofed as described here in hotels.com. You can hear the noise from the street, people passing by on your front door, as well as from the top and from the neighbouring room - the latter two are much more subtle. Consequently, it happened that I was woken up at not so convenient times. As sleep is highly important to me, I cannot recommend the room Khartoum. On the other hand, it is a very nice hotel and very well situated with wonderfully decorated rooms. Perhaps they have quieter rooms they can recommend you.
