even though it was a non smoking floor the hall smelled of cigarettes and there were cigarettes on our balcony. The sink in the bathroom had cracks around the wood cabinet. There was no hot water in the morning although they did reset it and got it going. The staff was great but the room needed some work peeling wallpaper and stains on the ceiling , just a really old motel

Hotel in itself is good,but...

The hotel in itself is pretty good, the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfy. But if you are there to see new orleans, then you will be spending a lot for cabs to and fro.

A little overpriced for the quality.

Pros: not too far from French quarter, cleanliness, staff was ok Cons: overpriced, quality of hallways and room not too good, facilities are outdated. Overall: hotel is outdated, overpriced for the quality.

the stuff are extremely unfriendly and be carefull this hotel DOES NOT include breakfast just a cup of coffea and a muffin

Toilet replaced TWO TIMES!!

Upon arrival the toilet didn't flush. When asked for a room change we were told they were sold out. Maintenance took 3 hours to diagnose and REPLACE the toilet...yet in mid repair offered us another room (inferior amenities) Our privacy was invaded for 3 hours. We left to enjoy the city and returned to a toilet that did not flush. When told maintenance would be right up we stated at this point we need a solid night's sleep. After 5 hours of sleep maintenance pounded on the door to replace the toilet. After another 2 plus hours two men invaded our privacy to replace the toilet. This Ramada Inn offered NOTHING to us for our inconvenience except an upgrade on breakfast from a roll and coffee to 2 eggs, 2 bacon and two pancakes. We tipped the first maintenance guy more than RI compensated us. Very unprofessional.

Quite Rooms

The hotel was completely booked the night prior to my stay, so early check in was unavailable. However the staff was helpful, room was clean, and very quite.

Complain

In over 80° hot weather in New Orleans my room had no air conditioner. to make complain I pick up the House phone but he was not working condition. Hotel was Full so I have to sleep in HOT room. also I find out Sink does not drain.

Overall it was a decent hotel for price. Televisions need updating and parking is limited if hotel is busy. If back in area would stay again. Housekeeping needs work as a second room that a friend was in was never cleaned the 3 days we were there.

Chose the hotel as it is close to the airport. Air conditioner was extremely loud so that I had to turn if off. The included breakfast is a bit of a scam as all you get for free is a coffee, and a small piece of English muffin or similar. Had to wait about 45 minutes for the airport taxi to arrive.

Acceptable, but I wouldn't stay here again

When I first arrived at the hotel, around 7 in the evening on a Saturday, I lined up to check in. Although there were only a couple of people in front of me in line, it took a half hour for me to reach the desk. The front desk staff had no sense of urgency, and although they were polite, this seemed extremely excessive. When I finally got to my room, everything was clean and looked nice enough. However, on day two of my stay, the water in the whole hotel quit working. I woke up at 10 and informed the housekeeper, who said that water would be back at 3pm!! I was not compensated for this at all, and it was very inconvenient to be unable to shower, wash my hands, brush my teeth, or have a drink of water. Overall, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to a friend.
