This place does not provide or understand what customer service is. When I checked in the person was unfriendly, uninviting and didn't ask any questions to make my stay any easier. The person that checked me in didn't explain how to get to my room, didn't volunteer the fact that there were renovations that affected the lack of breakfast and that pool was closed. The topics only came up as I asked more and more questions when she disclosed I have to give them at "Cash" deposit of $50 which wasn't explained on why it had to be cash.
Upon arrival to the room, I felt like I had to spell out phrases for my key card to work. Turned it over, waved it back and forth up and down, and turned it back over. I thought ok maybe it's me but it literally required this for the entire weekend and even after receiving a replacement card. The room was dated and displayed wall damages chipped paint, dirty carpet, and motel quality appliances. To make matters worse, I wanted to shower so I ran my water to what I would have thought would be lukewarm but I was so wrong. First and foremost the water pooled up to over ankle level and when I stepped in to test the water it was scalding hot so I had to let the water drain and then take an above cool bath so the water I had to stand in wouldn't burn my feet. I let staff know about the standing water and nothing was done.
