The property is actually canned Harbour View appartments- VERY difficult to locate in an Uber at 11pm. Called reception twice in Uber, as they close at 11pm and at no stage was it mentioned that there’s been a re-brand! Also, booked paid for “Deluxe” Queen bed and double bed. Actually got a double and a single. Sofa stained. Overall grotty and smelt of mould. No room service ( as advertised) and be prepared to order Uber eats !

Very noisey at night. Had the fire alarm sound early in the morning, the evac procedure info needs to be clearer. Still waiting for the damage deposit refund 48 hours after check out.

I called before I checked in to see if there was car park available. The nice lady said yes. I parked my car in the garage and went to check in and asked the receptionist about parking but he said they have “limited parking” and that I had park across the road. I waited at the exit for 10-15 minutes for someone to open the door but no one did so I just parked in the building for free. Terrible stay. Very underwhelming. Our level had a bad rubbish smell lingering. Would not recommend. There’s plenty out there with better value for money.

The receptionist was extremely rude and couldn’t care less about what was advertised versus what what delivered. Requested parking but was told I had to park down the road at $16per hour. (Probably a mates car park) first in first served for parking removed the convenience of the hotel. Team member ‘too bad, you need to park somewhere else’ with a nice shoulder shrug. Rude whilst I attempted to contact Wotif support for advise or refund.

The apartment was great for our family of 7, especially as the master bedroom was huge! We were able to have two children per extra bedroom and our baby in with us. The master bedroom had an ensuite, and there was a family bathroom. The street noise was more than ok, given that our room overlooked Spencer Street. We will definitely return.

Great location close to everything. Shower leaks. Plug doesn’t fit in bath so made it hard with kids. Was comfier sitting on ground then couch. Needs upgrading ASAP.

Terrible reception & bond refund issue
Check in advertised as after 2pm. Got a call asking me to check in before 3pm & was told normally reception was open until 9pm but for some special reason was closing early. I hadn't planned to get there until 6pm. They offered to stay open until 5pm (the earliest I could possibly get there was between 4 & 5pm) so I had to change my travel plans. When I arrived the reception was open and receptionist told me reception normally closed at 4pm but he would be there until 7pm! I was also unable to arrange to leave a room key for my partner who was arriving on a later train - so had to change my plans again which meant I was late for the event I was visiting Melbourne for!! I wouldn't have stayed here but had pre-paid online for the room. Then on checking out in the morning was told that the $100 room bond (another check-in surprise) would not be returned to me for 3 to 5 days! I do not recommend staying here.

The property was close to the central transport hub of Melbourne. It was clean and quiet. Has a 24 Hr reception.

The location was good and close to public transport. However, it was VERY noisy. So much so I needed to wear earplugs to sleep. And the mattress felt like it hadn’t been changed since the 1950s. Won’t be going back.

Worst hotel experience ever. Will not stay here again if someone paid me. Terrible customer service at reception Terrible room cleanliness One lift didn’t work so waiting for ever for the other one. TV only had a couple of working channels

A great location being very close to Southern Cross Station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The TV was difficult to operate and l had to get a staff member to turn it on. The room smelt a bit funny and l think a previous guest had been a smoker!

Location of this property is excellent! Trams at the doorstop, in many directions, including Tourist loop & Major Train Station, Southern Cross only a few minutes walk. Large Coles supermarket very close, open from 6am till 12Midnight. My Apartment was very spacious & loved the balcony view across at the Big Wheel at Docklands, that has a light show at night👌👍Bonus having a kitchenette & Hotel Staff all very friendly & helpful.

Didn't like our first room as I suffer from anxiety when I can't see out a window. The window opened onto a concrete wall. I thought we would have been accommodated in a room with a view. Paid extra for the balcony room. Reception didn't seem to realise my predicament. Second apartment was much better. Hotel is located very well close to transport.
