I had stayed here many years ago and booked it this last time because it would have the same look and feel.
A Spanish group has purchased it, and here it is 100% the reality.
1. Location - Good but crowded, depending on what you're looking for.
2. Hotel is not suitable for children under 12
3. Staff needs to have real-time information about events and or shows, the process to get any information was ridiculous, and I ended up booking in 5 min online.
4. The rooms are awful; they are small, have old furniture, cheap curtains, and overall, 1990, with some paint touch-ups.
5. Hallways were dirty; look at the walls where the scratches and dirt are apparent.
6. Shower pressure is GREAT, and so are the shower products.
7. There is no single adapter for the USA to EUR, and a modern hotel must have this and include a C plug next to the USB.
I don't have photos, but I am back in Madrid often and can share these if I have to.
