This is an absolutely phenomenal place. If you like art as much as I do, staying here is a dream. World-class (with a conscience) art everywhere — like five galleries there in the bathroom dining rooms elevator etc. Hunh? How is this in Louisville?! Impeccable suite to boot. Pay the extra to stay here.

The 21c was, as always, a unique property with an awesome bar/restaurant. The biggest complaint was the noise level from room to room. We could hear people sneezing, snoring, yawning, and simply talking to each other at a normal volume/tone. The walls were PAPER thin…this is not something you would expect for the price of this property. The front desk also did not inform us of some of the perks of the hotel at check-in (coupons, drink specials, etc); we inevitably learned of these through another guest that we happened to meet in the lobby.

Unique property with two-floor onsite art gallery. Enjoyed walking the gallery after a very long drive, and was inspired by the themes of its featured art. Valet parking was convenient. Valet even charged my Tesla while parked.

Nothing wrong with modern art, but this isn’t art. It’s left-wing political activism and propaganda. Rooms are a good size but that’s the only positive thing I have to say about this hotel. We even got turned away at breakfast, they said they were at capacity and couldn’t even give me a time estimate on when a table would be ready, basically just flat out refusing to serve us even though we were willing to wait since we were staying at the hotel.

This is a great hotel. Worth every penny. There was only one person handling check in so it took a bit longer than I would have expected. The bar makes amazing drinks and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Staff has great recommendations.

Staying here was an experience in itself. I love seeing all the art work! As far as regular hotel stuff — all great: clean, friendly and helpful staff, quiet, all of the expected amenities, and of course wonderful decor. It is right in the city so parking is not free, and you may want to park in another nearby ramp. The building also had its own quirks so, for example, between the elevator and our room ther were a few stairs. This wasn’t a problem for us but it might be for some.

The museum is interesting and quirky, but quiet. Front desk helpful and polite. Near great restaurants by ride share. The hotel rooms are quiet and nice, exposed brick and nice furnishings. There is housekeeping as well. Proof is an excellent restaurant.
