Love this place. Rooms are nice (but not made up every day so that was a bit of a bummer), the people are WONDERFUL, the casino has an almost intimate feel to it because it's smaller, the food was really quite good. We will definitely be recommending it to friends and we will definitely be returning!

Great staff the accommodations are a little outdated but doable. Love the fact that we don't have to walk a mile to our rooms and recreational areas. Elevators are a little slow stairs are far away and creepy. Would like to see more food choices for us all nighters. We had no problems checking in early (10am w/fee) or checking out express. Walkin distance to most attractions. Totally would stay again!

I know the staff tried their best however it is the condition of the building that is the issue. The elevator is not reliable at all. We had to walk through the staircase and it was not pleasant.The gym was under renovation so we could not use it. The rooms especially the airconditioner is ancient. Tne only updated thing in the room is the smoke detector.The TV was not working. Again, the staff tried their best but the building needs to have a renovation.

Property is close to the strip and big casinos but is in need of a refurbishment. Only one elevator was working out of three during the stay and the room door looked as though it had been kicked in at some point. Not very clean or new feeling. Fairly cheap but still charged parking for every day of the stay and also a “resort fee” the dining is pretty limited and not great for breakfast. The pool area is nice with two pools but only one was heated and the hours weren’t that convenient. 9:00 am to 7:00 I think? All in all this is a budget hotel that is a bit rundown. If you don’t plan on spending much time in the room or don’t have your kids with you (like we did) it’s ok.

They charge extra $50 daily for amenities. Amenities are normally included every where else. Pubic hairs and filthy bathroom shower curtain. Elevator on third floor was unavailable. Stairs stop on 2nd floor. Fire escape charts are not available. Sad situation.

Easy walking distance to the strip and close to the airport. This property is very dated. The elevator to floors 1-10 only had 1 out of 2 working for 3 of the days I stayed. The elevators from floors up to 19, had 2 of 3 elevators work finally on Saturday in the afternoon. The room lamps only had 1 which had the knob to click on. The bathroom was very dirty and need new molding for the tub as was mildewy. Table in the room was dirty and was glad I had Lysol wipes. Bed was comfortable.

Elevators are a death trap. Doors open and close spontaneously. Buttons light up randomly including the emergency fire department. Takes you to random floors and then the doors get stuck and don't open. We decided to take the stairs 15 floors down when we checked out and it was way better and faster. Unfortunately there's no stairs from the 2nd floor to the first and we quickly found out other people were also doing the same. We had to take the elevator down one floor and we couldn't get out fast enough.

0 stars if I could. Room was filthy, they lost a package that was delivered for me, and was charged an early check-in fee despite me calling in ahead of time and being promised there would be no fee. Decided to give them a chance despite the near-unanimous 1-star reviews. Never again. If you're travelling on a budget, the next step up will absolutely be worth it, avoid this place like the plague.

The elevator buttons on the 3rd floor Oceanside Tower were broken and pushed in and would not call the elevator to the floor. To be able to leave the 3rd floor we had to use the stairs.

This property is poorly maintained and requires a major reno. The wooden floor outside the elevator on my floor was badly buckled and cracked, with a traffic cone to warn you away. I could easily imagine someone tripping or falling over that. The lobby is dingy. Saving graces: location and a nice-enough desk staff. They got me checked in quickly. I also checked out quickly after a one-night stay.

The smoke smell in casino area is way worse than other hotels. In our room shower, the hot water didn't work! And the key stopped working for the door even though I asked for late checkout. Housekeeping doesn't answer when you call for something either. Elevators don't always work.

More staff needed at the Hooters Restaurant. Only one person taking meal orders and one serving at 8:30 am which was prime breakfast time. We left after 20 minutes of being seated, and without our meal order yet taken. Great $1. Blackjack table in the casino! Very little drink service in the casino though and only 1 bar to get drinks from as this is a smaller casino.

Good value for the price. Good stuff: Within walking distance of the strip- the Park MGM and the T Mobile arena are especially close. The casino dealers are friendly and remind me of a time where people play the games for fun. Mark was a standout, great guy! Gave me directions and always greeted me. There's a Hooters restaurant and a Shake Shack inside the hotel. Even though I've never eaten at a Hooters before I was surprised by the courteous staff and the quality of the food. The shrimp tacos were delicious. The Bad Stuff: This hotel is old and definitely could use an update. The elevators are slow and small. The bathroom was my biggest issue. The facilities were below average, very little shower pressure and the tub was worn down. In my opinion the beds also were too firm.

This had to be the worse stay I think I have ever stayed at. Where do I start, I Booked and when I got in, I asked for purchase extra to upgrade (When I booked, It said the amenities but didn't have them) Wanted to have a microwave and fridge, The room (see photos) was disgusting and they wouldn't change our room or anything. Ice machine on our 18th Floor didnt work, Restaraunt was rude workers and didnt even bring us the food we orered. We (2 of us) got there before 4 other tables and I had to ask about our food and the waitress just said, "I dont know let me find it",

Started off by the front desk not being able to make us keys to our room so we had to ask for security to open our door. The room was so dirty the bathtub was unusable and the bathroom sink was leaking. The room did not have a deadbolt latch, only the deadbolt attached the the room key reader. Overall I would never stay here again, especially for the price we paid. There’s a reason they offer $1 blackjack 24/7… look elsewhere!

I had mediocre expectations due to the price of the room vs other properties, but OYO was simply very poor in cleanliness & the surrounding area was sketchy. The AC vents in the room was coated with a think layer of dust that look liked it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The walls, doors and furniture were very beat up and worn, all outlets were so loose that plugs just fell out, no USB outlets. The middle elevator had mechanical issues that caused it to advance past the selected floors and stop at the top, doors didn’t open for 5 mins. Took the stairs down 5 flights. Homeless sleeping in the adjacent parking lot. The Tropicana shouldn’t be the only building imploded in that area. Lesson learned, if it’s 1/4 of the cost per night vs MGM…stay at MGM or other. My fault, get what you pay for.

When we arrived we checked into 228 that did not seem to be cleaned...it was apparent, but we didn't complain knowing the status of hotel we chose. Our room was soaking wet, to the point of puddles, and our slider door was broken open. The door was not even on the slider, it was just propped up against our wall. We figured they purposely opened it due to the room stinking like wet dirty feet and the wet carpets. We called down to have them fix the slider door so we could sleep without having to worry about intruders but they never sent anyone and we ended up having to barricade the slider door with the extra furniture in the room. The next morn we had to call two more times for someone to come fix the door in which they sent three guys who just bolted the door to the wall, leaving the door still open but not movable. THEN we woke up the next morning to EVERYTHING on our floor SOAKING wet, beyond puddles.. we had to throw clothes and shoes away because they were dripping with yellow/brown water from just sitting on the ground over night. We tried to tell the front desk and they asked if they wanted me to have them send a housekeeper and I tried explaining it was much bigger than a housekeeper issue. After a hr there was a knock at the door and they told us we caused the room below us to leak because we showered too long. At this point we didn't even have a chance to shower? just overall dirty, unsafe, and unpleasant. I recommend staying at the motel 6 for the same experience.
