Top im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes!
Top! Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Essen und ein super Zimmer! Die Aussicht ist fantastisch und der Whirlpool wurde trotz eher mässigem Wetter extra für uns hergerichtet inkl. Reinigung. Die Anfahrt mit dem Auto ist abenteuerlich und bei viel Verkehr muss man locker mit einer halben Stunde für die knapp 5 Km ab Como rechnen. Kreuzen ist an vielen Stellen nicht möglich. Ist aber definitiv machbar und der Weg lohnt sich!

Vaut le détour
La réception de cet hôtel est ouverte jusqu'à 22 heures ; nous l'avons contactée pour prévenir de notre retard, celle-ci nous a gentiment envoyé une petite vidéo via WhatsApp pour nous donner accès à notre chambre. Quelle belle surprise nous avons eue ! Situation exceptionnelle, chambre avec déco très originale, personnel très affable à notre réveil. Seul petit bémol, la route d'accès étant très sinueuse, mieux vaut rouler très prudemment.

Prettig hotel met een rit naar boven en beneden om nooit te vergeten. Erg mooi uitzicht. Prima bedden. Douche was middelmatig, weinig kracht en verschil in temperatuur bij warm water. 3 sterren is maar net gehaald wat mij betreft. Personeel aardig, maar eigenaresse keek erg boos, en daardoor niet benaderbaar. Jacuzzi werd met gemopper opengemaakt in de ochtend.

not worth it at all. Please save your money
The hotel wasn’t the cleanest. There were two dead bugs in the room. Biggest issue, the hotel has advertised that they have a 24/7 front desk. But they don’t. Their front desk closes at 10pm. The hotel has refused to provide any genuine reason for this or offer even a partial refund / compensation about this according to hotels.com. One main reason for me booking the hotel was the 24/7 front desk so really very disappointed Breakfast was really bad. They have no vegan options at all. They give you two absolutely tiny crossaints and dry bun. The rest you have to order from the menu. So I ordered toast with scrambled egg. They gave me a corner of a toast. It wasn’t even a full slice of toast. Even then the corner was very over cooked. On our last day, we asked for some extra crossaints and the lady said she has to go speak to her manager about this. She brought the crossaints but I felt so uncomfortable asking for more because of that There is no AC in the room and there is no room temperature control. The temperature fluctuates with the temperature outside. We asked to borrow a fan for an hour the lady said I will go ask my manager and never got back to us on this. The walls are very thin, if you stand in the bathroom you can hear all the conversations from the room next door. if you want the view just go to brunate during the day. The hotel also doesn’t respond to emails at all. I would at least like them respond / give me some support.

Excellent Family ran business
Incredible stay at Hotel Paradiso. All staff are very welcoming and ensure that you have everything you need to make you stay most enjoyable. Would highly recommend this place to anyone, espcially those who look a good hike! Make sure you plan your days ahead is one thing I suggest

Stay away!!! PLESE!!!!!
Family place that has gone in stands in the middle of 1980. Ikea furniture, smell, fungus, dirty in many places, overpriced !!! Glass not cleaned but just rinsed. Toilet that is not fixed so make sure you do not tip over! Hot water is not available at the hotel ... maybe after 1 hour of waiting .... both day and night!. Should have breakfast early morning as they promised ... no, nothing ... they slept! Thank you for the promised service! Stay away!!!

Roberto and the entire team were amazing, they really wanted us to enjoy our stay, very friendly, and they made recommendations of where to visit and the best way to get there. The views of the lake from the hotel were absolutely stunning!

Wonderfully placed in Brunate, high up on a mountain with such a great view over the valley and sea. Nice bar and pool on a terrace overlooking the sea. The room was not that nice, no aircondition, old bathroom. Great service and nice location if you want to explore the city Como from there.

Besviken
Trevlig personal. Hotell med inredning från -80 talet, lite slitet och behov av renovering. Lyhört. Överpris pga utsikten. Fantastiskt utsikt över Como sjö. 5 km lång krokväg , där man möter sig själv, fram till hotellet.

Good hotel with Great Outlook!
Great stay in a quiet and peaceful area with fantastic views. Room was fairly basic but very clean, missed having Aircon at night though! Staff (Laura in particular) were super helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Location is very remote (on top Of a mountain!) but some good local restaurants within walking distance.

Une nuit rapide dans cet hôtel sans prétention mais qui est très agréable. Une superbe vue Sur le lac et un personnel réellement au petit soin. Le repas préparé en dernière minute alors que la cuisine était fermée était vraiment bon avec de très bons produits.

Hotel Paradiso sul Lago
The hotel is nice (but not as nice as the photos on the Hotels.com site would have you believe) but the view of lake Como is what makes it worthwhile. Unfortunately Hotels.com charged me extra to ensure a parking space but when we arrived the hotel told me that parking was included in the booking so i was cheated out of 14 euros.

Amazing view on the lake at breakfast! It is off centre from the lake but the view and quiet are more than worth it ! We will certainly go back if we can.

Es war alles perfekt. Lage und aussicht waren top, das essen sehr frisch und köstlich, die drinks sehr grosszügig. Das personal war sehr zuvorkommend und haben uns jeden wunsch erfüllt (transfer zur bahn und wieder zurück beispielsweise) Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, danke vielmal für das tolle erlebnis!

the best place to stay in Como
This hotel is one of the best place to stay in Como. It is on the hill, where you can have the bet scenery ever, close to many attractions, allows access to fenikuler etc. There are couple of restaurants around. They are very helpful in getting you around and suggesting the best places, restaurants and so on. We will come back here.

We stayed at Hotel Paradiso Sul Lago for 3 nights in mid September, and we loved our stay! It was very quiet, relaxing and the views were spectacular. We were lucky to have a room with a lake and pool view. The rooms were clean with a comfy bed and nice en-suite bathroom. The hotel staff were really friendly and most helpful - they were always happy to take us to and collect us from the Funicolare (the transport into Como) otherwise it would have been a bit of a walk. We also wanted to go paddle-boarding on the lake, and the staff insisted on making some calls for us to enquire. Nothing was too much for them. Sadly their kitchen facilities were out of order during our stay so we couldn't eat in their restaurant (which they were also disappointing about), but they were happy to make suggestions for other options which were very nice. The pool was nice, albeit a bit cold(!) but it was lovely to warm up then in the hot tub and have a drink on the terrace. If you're looking for a place in the 'thick of it' in terms of bustling bars and restaurants, then this is probably isn't for you as it's a bit out of Como. But if you're looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing family run hotel with jaw dropping views and accommodating staff then this place is ideal.

The hotel is located on on top of the mountain above Como and it has an amazing view over the Como lake and nearby villages.
