Friendly welcome and attentive staff, after we found somewhere to park, easily. (Park around the back) The room was clean and tidy ready for 3 of us. Restaurant and bar was comfortable, food was lovely, (king prawn pizza was👌) To sum it up, when we return to knaresborough we will stay here again.

Newly Renobetd but Rooms Small
Newly renovated Inn with a great looking pub area but the rooms were small. Bar service was poor and the staff were a bit rude too. Dirty glasses and bottles all over the bar area.

Lovley country pub style restaurant and bar. It was really busy and sevice was quite slow, it felt like there should've been more staff. Several types of wine on the list were not available, but our food was great! The rooms are fresh and clean and beds comfy. Great location for the sights of Knaresborough.

This property is massively improved since the Inn Collection group took over. WOW, brilliant. Totally refurbished . Everything was brilliant. Excellent meal , great service .

Knaresborough Inn a good place to stay
Everything about hotel was very good. Disappointed with room allocation, we had booked the last double room in the main building (according to the website) however, we were placed in the annexe which was a short walk from the main building. We questioned why there had been a change without being notified but did not get a reason for this only to be told that the annexe room was the equivalent standard and same price. The room was clean and tidy, however the weather was wet and windy for most of our stay and we had to wrap up and use a brolly when going for meals, etc. Apart from that the staff were very polite and pleasant. Good location with useful transport links so it was not necessary to drive anywhere. I would recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Such a shame
Lovely place, great staff but my room was cold and I was a very noisy environment, freshly decorated room which was very nice but a strong smell of paint, and unfortunately an uncomfortable bed.

Great 3 night stay 👌
Hotel just opened after refurbishment and was lovely and comfortable. Room was spacious and very clean as was the public areas. Few niggles with service and the inexperienced team but their efforts were appreciated seeing as it was the hottest weekend of the year and the whole of Knaresborough seemed to have turned out. Food was amazing no complaints there at all. Staff really friendly and so was the clientele especially the dogs, being a dog friendly establishment!! We did have a plumbing noise issue in our room which the manager sorted promptly and had to be moved for the last night when the door didnt lock but the receptionist was on it without no trouble and again the manager, Ian, who was very approachable was very accommodating. Issues like these can happen anywhere but its how they are dealt with matters and we have no complaints there. We will return again as it was one of the best hotels we have stayed in England and is in a beautiful part of the country.
