Good location and very comfortable. Not to far from airport bus stop to hotel shuttle bus when arrived and easy to use the airport bus in front of the hotel when we returned.
Well maintained property that you can tell was once quite luxurious and grand. Thanks to the age of the hotel, the rooms were very spacious for Japan and allowed my family to spread out somewhat. Too bad the on site restaurants were only operating with limited hours.
Everything is great except that the hotel’s queen size beds are not actually queen size. I would suggest checking the size of the bed. Some rooms have full size and some have queen size. But they don’t seem to have any queen size beds in their rooms. We were traveling with two kids so thought we can manage with two queens but that was not the case. We ended up spending more money and moving into another room.
Everyone at the Westin Osaka was lovely to interact with. I appreciated their attention to detail and friendliness. I would stay here again when I visit Osaka.
The property was under construction so at night there was a lot of noises like water dripping and shifting in the walls. Also the room was not as neat as I would have expected such as hair in the drawer and bed sheets not tucked in
Well preserved building, with nice lobby. Not busy, there is always an elevator available. A little but beautiful garden on site. Large rooms with good view, clean windows. There was a confusion about restaurants hours. The guide in the room says restaurants work till 10PM, but they are actually closed at 8PM.
Overall: I would stay at the Westin again with my family.
Room: Spacious for Japanese standards and very nice.
Staff: They were on top of it, and were great from the intial booking to check out process.
Food: Food at the hotel is a bit pricy, but there are lots of local options nearby in walking distance
Walkability: It is a bit of a walk from the nearby subway station which makes it less convenient so it's best to know your taxi stand locations nearby in case you get tired.
This is 2nd time visiting. last time was almost 8 years ago. however, this hotel still nicely maintained, very clean and all the staff are very friendly.
Only one thing that I felt not good enough is the TV is too old. I think it’s time to change.
Anyway, I would strongly recommend Westin Osaka.
Very smart, if slightly, aging property. Our room was immaculate, large, comfortable with a great view and excellent bedding and bathroom. The gym was disappointing, small and not very well-equipped, but it was about to be renovated. Service was sweet and helpful.
