Park Lane is a new hotel I believe as I have never seen it before when I stay in Manhattan. The room view was amazing, waking up and sleeping to a Central Park view is always great. The staff was very nice and the location is convenient. With that said, I do believe the hotel needs a lot of work regarding organization, room supplies, and attention to detail. Our room was a 2 double bed room. The bathroom was tiny. I know it’s New York but other hotels with less expensive room have larger bathrooms. The bathroom was lacking the typical bathroom items like Qtips, cotton balls, etc ( usually comes in a mini bag). The room is advertised to use Le Labo products and that was false. The shampoo and conditioner was so low we needed to call to get it refilled ( as it did not come individually packaged) on day 1 (the bathroom products felt like a public shower stall and not a hotel). We had to wait a while to park our car as no doorman or valet person was outside when we arrived (12PM). We had to ask where check in was versus having someone direct you to where guest needed to go. Overall I don’t think I will be staying here again. I do believe the hotel is trying but it has a long way to go before becoming a luxury hotel. For the price there are a lot more established hotels in the area with better organization.
