Nice hotel with warm service
Although there’re no lift at the hotel, hotel staffs are helpful. The location is very good. The room is clean.

La struttura si trova in una strada ben illuminata e abbastanza trafficata anche nelle ore serali; dista circa 10/15 minuti a piedi dai quartieri di Covent Garden e Soho, ma è comunque ben servita anche da mezzi pubblici e metro. La camera, piccola ma funzionale, si trovava al terzo piano (senza ascensore) ed era fornita di microonde, bollitore e qualche stoviglia. Ogni mattina veniva fatto il cambio degli asciugamani e la camera rassettata. La colazione veniva servita nella saletta al piano seminterrato: è piuttosto abbondante e in perfetto stile inglese.

What a great area and a hotel with such character. Staff were helpful and polite and our room looked as expected from photos. No frills, but sensible and totally acceptable. Just steps from coffee shop and book shop, very walkable, intellectual area of London. Perfect for those wanting to visit the British Library or British Museum. No elevator/lift so stairs may be a challenge.

A great, basic, clean and convenient place to stay. No lift, so the elderly or those with physical limitations ought to be aware. We stayed on the top floor and it was quite a hike to schlep everything upstairs. The check in lady, a lovely and effervescent Glaswegian woman, couldn’t have been nicer. Just lovely. One thing they should do here is give guests two sets of keys in case they wish to split up and explore. There is only reception staff present during the day and a key is required to get in the front door after 6pm. This is a basic amenity that would make life infinitely easier for guests of this hotel.

STAY AWAY!! I have never seen dirtier carpets in my life. Wallpaper peeling off walls. Carpets have tears in them. Breakfast is very limited. Space is so small (even for European standards). Staff is not corteous at all. Closed and staff leaves at 6pm. If you need anything you need to call sister property and go there (8' walk).

I like the location of the hotel. It’s very convenient & accessible to all buses / underground-tubes. The negative part was the thin wall of the rooms. I can hear people talking & disrupting my sleep. That’s also including the squeaky noise floors from above my room & the floors from my room.

Although our room was quite small it was adequate for our family. The breakfast was very good with a good choice. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. They moved things around so we could stay there and not be moved to the apartments. Overall a good experience. Communication from the front desk is excellent

Bedbugs
What a sad experience. Location is nice, you have the facilities you need. The windows did not close properly. But worst of all was the fact that the beds were overcrowded by bedbugs. They did not show at once as the beds were freshly made, but by the time we were going to sleep the bugs were everywhere. On us, too. I called the number provided but they did not have any spare room and I was advised to find another hotel, at 11 pm, with two kids. We were sitting in the hallway while I was trying to find a place for us nearby. It did cost me twice as much, but the beds were bugfree. When I came by the next day to deliver the keys the receptionist did not appear suprised, nor did she apologized for the invonvinience or asked if we were ok. I did get the refund.

Helt okej hotell med otroligt bra läge!
Hotellet är lite slitet och rummet såg inte riktigt ut som på bild. Men vi bokade pga läget. 10min promenad så är man på Oxford street och det finns affärer och resturanger precis runt hörnet. Gällande vägglöss som många skrev om så frågade vi tjejen i receptionen vid ankomst om detta. Hon sa att det va behandlat och ville inte prata så mycket om det. Vi märkte inget första natten eller morgongen därpå som stack ut. Andra natten gick även den bra och vi fann några blodiga prickar på lakanet och såg två vägglöss totalt den morgonen. Så en invasion vad det inte men de fanns. Vi bodde i rum 6. Hela London är infekterat och detta stack inte ut mer än något annat. I övrigt trevlig personal och bra frukost. Här bor man för läget i stan och inte för att spendera tid på rummet.

Pænt og rent men meget slidt. Tapetet er faldet af flere steder, gulvtæppet slidt og forsøgt lappet sammen flere steder. Meget dårlige senge. Faktisk helt vildt dårlige senge. Rigtig god service fra personalet God morgenmad.

The receptionist welcome was warm and friendly and the breakfast was tasty. The interior of the room let it down and was unacceptable; peeling wallpaper & plaster, the bathroom bin was not emptied, carpet wet in areas, dusty/dirty surfaces. These can be rectified quite simply.

Leuk hotel midden in het centrum. Het is netjes en schoon de badkamer is erg klein en er is veel kit gebruikt. Hotel kan wel een opfris beurt krijgen. Ontbijt is prima geen buffet maar wat je krijg r is goed en lekker

Its a shame the staff have to be the face of this establishment. The property needs a revival more than a refurbishment. We were not too fussed about the condition of the out-dated decor. However, there was the unpleasant discovery of bed bugs infesting not only the bed or our room, but the whole hotel. We saw them crawling all around the lobby too while we waited for the night manager of the sister hotel, as he allowed us to change rooms but he gave us time to check the room first. We did not take long in discovering more of these biters. So, the night manager took us to the sister location and cared for us for 4 hours as we and he tried to relocate us to a new hotel. We gave Hotels.com/Expedia this 4 hour chance to prove their professionalism. We were soon disappointed and stressed due to fatigue when it was closely approaching 4am. We fortunately had this night manager go above and beyond (he ran around the proximity for accommodation available in other hotels). He could not have been more caring than what was required of him. Again, the colleagues of these establishments need praising and serious support from the owners. As they should not have to deal with this nightmare. Not to mention that hotels.com must be either ignorant to the reviews or are not reviewing these locations properly.

Good location and staff were friendly but hotel is tired and room/ensuite were tiny. Wallpaper peeling in places, bed frame too big for mattress, some of fittings broken. Wouldn't choose to stay at the hotel again.

An OK stay

After securing a reservation 5 months in advance, the property management decided to switch my party to another location due to "Operational Reasons" two days prior to our arrival. Studios2Let were very professional and accommodating, however, the rooms were right on the street, bottom level with so much noise no sleep was inevitable. Regency House attempted to be accommodating, but as I frequently travel to the UK, I will not look toward Regency House for accommodations.

Cold but comfortable stay close to Eurostar
Walked 2 km to pick up the key when we arrived at 10 pm then descended to a small but clean and tidy room in the basement. Very quiet but cold with no heat. Good breakfast and good coffee. Room had mwave, fridge and no room to swing a cat so leave your pets at home

Bad Experience at the hotel.
This is not a hotel rather a bed & breakfast place. Though they say no check in after 7 pm and if you come late then you have to walk to their sister hotel which is about 15 minutes walk. We arrived at 6 PM there was no one to hand over keys. We had to climb 6 stories to get to our room. There is no lift/ elevator.

A conveniently located budget hotel in the heart of London. Close to Euston railway station. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast included 😋. Would definitely use again ideal for a short break in the Capital.

Generally a very good weekend break. Room was comfortable but there didn’t appear to be a socket for one of the bedside lights. Full English breakfast was very good - but space was limited if several families wanted to eat at the same time. Access to public transport was easy and convenient. We would be happy to book there again.

BED BUGS IN FAMILYROOM 1! DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL, THEY DO NOTHING TO RHIS MATTER. Our holiday had an terrible end as we stayed our last night in this hotel. Room was outdated and the bathroom tab kept leaking water. The worst nightmare was to discover in the morning that we had been bitten by bed bugs during the night. I even cought one on video in the morning. I informed the receptionist and he said he was sorry. He ended up ringing the manager and we did get refund of the room. But what I’m most terrified is that they did not tell other guests, for them to be extra careful with luggage and clothes, to not spread them. There must be bed bugs in other rooms as well. They did not call the pest control either! This is not the receptionist fault but very bad management! DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!
