"Nice quiet hotel, next to restaurants, gas stations, and beautiful views of Vik. Our room was facing the road, 2nd floor, but the views of the ocean were spectacular. Breakfast was plentiful with beautiful view. The room was a little hot, but we opened the windows. We booked two rooms, and they put us next to each other, asking us what beds we preferred. Truly a nice stay, and conveniently located between Reyjkavik & Diamond Beach."

There is not a lot of room for storage however -- we got there after the 2 above us, who had already spread their items across both bag stands and all the hooks in the corner, which was frustrating. "The guesthouse is located on a beautiful farm about 15 minutes from Skogafoss to the west and about 25 minutes from Vik to the east. This location was a perfect base for us to explore the south coast waterfalls, the scenery around Vik, and a day trip to the Westman Islands. The staff was very friendly.
