Lovely old building and full of character Rooms good, comfy bed and good shower Great location, felt very safe and close to everything but still nice and quiet Roof top terrace has fab views and such a fab place to just sit and relax, roof to bar very strange as it’s just a guy taking drink orders but still worth a visit (WiFi very hot & miss) Definitely recommend

The place was big enough for a family of 5 and very conveniently located. The view from the tower is really outstanding and a very pleasant surprise. The breakfast, prepared by Vivian and her staff was superb. We did not enjoy a breakfast like that in any other of the places we stayed during our visit to Italy.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Easily walkable to main sights and train. Good room size and comfortable beds. Could use a shelf or 2 to unpack clothes. Hotel itself is lovely with sitting areas on every floor. Great breakfast selection. Loved the rooftop bar. Some occasional street noise if we left the window open at night. Staff was very helpful and gave us some great restaurant suggestions. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Thank you Torre Guelfa!

Being an old building, it was well appointed, the , room and bathroom were big. Breakfast was in a lovely room and it was very generous and really good. The hotel has a tower with a fantastic view of the city. My only complain, however, the bed was hard and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable and hard. Definitely a deterrent to come back in spite of all the other positives.

This hotel was an amazing place!!! We found out that this hotel was a palace of a noble family in Florence. it was in a great location and was very walkable to the all the main points of interests in Florence. The person in charge of breakfast, Vivienne was so so so sweet. we were visiting from California during December. The hotel had an amazing breakfast service which featured all types of breads, jams, sweets, and savory snacks. Everyday when we walked in we were greeted in buy Vivienne, she always had a smile on her face and was happy. The tower of the hotel also had spectacular views of the beautiful cathedral and the city plaza. Loved everything about it!!!

This was such a lovely hotel in a great location. Very clean and enjoyed breakfast. Take earplugs though as street noise could disturb you in the early morning.

Davvero scomodo e complicato. Trovare la stanza era un'impresa. In più, bisognava scendere e salire delle scale. Inoltre, il bagno era comunicante con quello della stanza accanto, con la parete che non arrivava al soffitto! Infine, la colazione era molto modesta. Sicuramente non vale il prezzo pagato.

ウフィツィ美術館やヴェッキオ橋、シニョーリア広場等にも歩いて数分で行けるので便利。しかも、朝食は朝、7時半から素敵なお部屋でのバッフェでお願いすれば、カプチーノも入れてくれて美味しいスイーツまで並ぶ豪華ぶり。それをサッといただいてからもウフィツィ美術館の早朝8時半からの入場に間に合いました。古い、ホテルの塔からの夜の眺めも素敵でした。

I didnt like how there wasnt any power outlets in our room.. only 1 by the door.. very inconvenient.. other than that the location was great. Perfect for shopping and eating

Good location. Front desk staff to business like. While I selected this property after research I would research other properties again before selecting this property. There are better and just as competitive options out there. While the breakfast was fine for my wife and I a staff member did advise another customer complained about breakfast.

Harika! Great!
Kesinlikle harika bir hotel. Konumu Floransa’nın tam merkezinde. Heryere ulaşım çok rahat. Resepsiyon beyler ve kahvaltı alanındaki özellile asya’lı bayan çok iyilerdi. Herkese tavsiye ediyoruz. Absolutely great hotel. The location is right in the center of Florence. Transportation everywhere is very easy. The gentlemen at the reception and especially the Asian lady in the breakfast area were very nice. We recommend it to everyone.

Good location. But…..
Love the location and rooftop bar. We stayed in the apartment which you have to go outside and around the back of the building to get too. It was noisy because the street vendors store their carts near by so they push them through the streets. We only stayed 2 nights and our room was not serviced after the first night. Disappointing for tge price.

Our favorite hotel in all our stops in Italy! Historic building with an incredible tower view, unbeatable location, fantastic service, breakfast is great, tasty cappuccinos, they checked us in early, safely left our bags after check-out, called a taxi that arrived in moments... just loved this place!

Awful hotel with a great location
In fairness i will begin with the good sides of this hotel. The location is really great, and everyone who works there are very nice and helpful and provide good service. I honestly can not understand that this hotel has anything but a terrible ration on this site. When we arrived and opened the door to our very dark room, the smell of old, dusty and dirty textile slapped us in the face. The tv did not work, the fan(!) did not work (how can a fan not work?), the AC could not keep the room at a cool temperature and you need a degree in antique engineering to open a window, and the windows are frosted, so you need to open them to see anything. The bed was hard as a rock. There is no form of sound isolation, so you wake up to a loud bang if someone on the next floor open or close their door. There were extremely few plug sockets, so you have to unplug the (much needed) lights if you want to charge your phone. After about 30 minutes the smell of old dusty and dirty textile was overpowered by a pungent smell of sewage coming out of the shower drain. This smell stayed in the room for the duration of our stay. How anyone can give this hotel 10/10 is beyond belief, it is like we have stayed in different hotels. Never again.

This property is quirky for sure. They have made some unique rooms out of what they have to work with. Ours was a 2 story with a large balcony which we particularly enjoyed. Based on other locations we have stayed at in Europe, this one was more than expected for space and amenities. A very charming hotel for sure!

Great location. We were in an apartment separate to the hotel which was hard to find. We had lots of space for our family of 5. But no smart tv to connect to. Kitchen could have been better equipped. Comfortable apartment, enjoyed beautiful Florence

Excellent location to downtown Florence. Walkable to everything. Including the train station. It’s about a mile but very doable. Rooms are very unique and the hotels tower offers amazing views. They also offer a great buffet breakfast. If not included, €15. Only complaints, the bed was extremely hard ( I prefer extra form mattresses but this was beyond that) and hot water was limited.

This was a fabulous hotel in a beautiful area. We were able to easily walk everywhere we wanted to go and the rooftop bar is a definite plus with a beautiful view!! The breakfast was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful with info about the area.

The view from the tower rooftop is beautiful day or night. Good breakfast included and very interesting old architecture giving more of a boutique style hotel. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The location is superb, very Art Deco, a real gem. I would highly recommend. The roof top bar has views of the city which are hard to beat.

Great hotel
Amazing place to visit Florence, all you need to see is close and a lot of restaurants around. Beautiful room and great size bathroom. The tower of the hotel gives you amazing views of the city and you can grab a drink too. We used the valet service because you don’t want to be driving around here and trying to find a parking would be hell. Would recommend this place for sure .

Great hotel with amazing staff
Our stay in this hotel has been a great experience. From check in to check out, the staff were amazing. They are all very friendly and they answer our questions promptly. The room was huge. Clean and comfortable bed for the 2 nights we were there. Buffet breakfast was great with lots of choices. If you are planning to visit Florence, I highly recommend this hotel. Worth every penny.
